The Naturally Gilded 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper looked really pretty in the online store and I thought I could use it for some neat scrapbook layouts. But when I first opened the pack to create a layout I was stumped! A great tip to remember when you're not sure what layout design to use, sign up to receive my free 3 Fun Scrapbook Sketches to use one of the sketches with inspiration to create your scrapbook layout or you can look back at previous layouts you've made for inspiration. I found a layout created in 2017 when Lemon Lime Twist was one of the In Colors. It was paired with Basic Black, Basic White and a dark green (I chose Shaded Spruce). I'll post the photo of the inspiration below.
How to Create a Birthday Scrapbook Layout with the Bright & Beautiful DSP
Griffin's birthday is coming up really soon! He turns 11 on May 1 and he is the best dog ever! Since his birthday is the next one in the family it was the best opportunity to create a layout to not only be ready to print the photos and add them with some journaling but to use new products! The Bright & Beautiful 6" x 6" designer series paper has some fun designs and contains 10 of the 11 new core colours. The stripe band was created using two pieces of the designer series paper and the two smaller photo layers are from the same pack. The larger photo layer is Blueberry Bushel cardstock. This layout is one of my 3 Fun Scrapbook Sketches and you can receive them here: http://Subscribe.FromWhereIStamp.ca

A Night to Remember: Scrapbooking Your Campfire and Starry Sky Experience
A few years ago we bought a fire pit for our backyard. A pretty round stone one with a wire dome. It's so fun to sit around the fire, put sticks in, poke the fire back up to flames and see how long some of the logs last. When I saw the pretty star design in the Enjoy the Journey designer series paper (DSP) I remembered sitting around the fire in September with my head titled back looking up at the stars! Starting with pretty DSP is an easy way to start creating your scrapbook layout. You can pull colours from the list on the pack and I've used the coordinating Greatest Journey stamp set to add accents to my layout.
How to Create a Scrapbook Layout using the Cozy & Bright Kit
Stampin' Up! have these amazing kits that you can assemble as designed, create your own version by swapping elements around or add-on some additional supplies to create a one-of-a-kind project! Sometimes there is product available in one of the catalogues that works really well with the kit and sometimes you just need a different sentiment to add. In my paper drawer I had some Painted Christmas designer series paper left so I pulled out the pieces and discovered a full 12" x 12" sheet of the pinecone design. Perfect to match the pinecones in this kit and for the base of my scrapbook layout.
Create a Christmas Scrapbook layout with the Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper
These photos are from Christmas 1984. I'm so adorable holding onto my bear! I think those are different Christmas trees in each of the photos. One at my house and another at each of my grandparent's home. With Christmas soon to be here I enjoy looking back at photos from years past. To be reminded of traditions and people I haven't seen in awhile. Or to laugh at how we looked, or what presents were under the tree! Do you look back at your photos of the holidays or another time?

Using strips of designer series paper along with cutting out images from the designer series paper you can create a fun layout like I have above. The main piece of paper I chose from the Ice Cream Corner DSP makes me think of drizzled chocolate. What do you think? To finish off this layout you could use one 4" x 6" picture or even add another photo to the right of the white photo layer.
