Fall Pocket Page Inspiration!

Happy Thanksgiving to us Canadians this weekend! As the days get shorter and the leaves fall a great way to relax is to save your photos and memories in pocket pages. Slip your photos into the pockets then fill in the rest of the pockets with either designer series paper or cardstock.

Are you someone who uses a planner? Or are you like me and use an app for that? I was intrigued when I saw the Making Plans Collection on page 19 of the Sale-A-Bration catalogue. During the demonstrator preorder in June, one of my favourite reasons to be a demonstrator, I was able to add the planner to my order so that I could play with all the pieces to share ideas on how you can use it! In this blog post I'll share 3 ideas of what to do with the Making Plans Collection and how you can receive it for free.
Pocket page scrapbooking is my favourite way to preserve my memories. To me it's less daunting then tackling a 12" x 12" empty page. Using pocket pages you can add multiple photos that wouldn't fit together on a traditional layout. And it makes me remember flipping through old photo albums at my parent's place. There was a certain photo album that had 4" x 6" pockets in it and I'm sure it was a Techniques gray album, as in Panasonic Techniques. My family sold and repaired consumer electronics for many years and we primarily sold Panasonic products. The photos were slipped into the pockets and the plastic made this noise that I can still "hear" to this day! I wonder if my mom still has it? Do you have a memory of looking through photo albums when you were younger?
Do you have old pictures of yourself as a child? Maybe I shouldn't say old? Hope that doesn't make me sound ancient. I love looking back at photos. Especially albums that my mom has and I have been slowly creating scrapbook layouts of pictures from my childhood so that I have my own copies of them.

Hello and welcome to Facebook Thursday! Every week I pick a product to create at least one project and show you how to create it during a Facebook Live. This week I've used the Sweet Little Valentine Cards & More with the 6" x 8" pocket pages to create an adorable 2 page layout of Griffin. The Sweet Little Valentine's Cards & More can create 10 cards and includes envelopes. The finished card size is 4.25" x 3.25" and the die cut card fronts are 3" x 4". This makes these perfect for pocket pages! Scroll down to view the list of products used and for today's Facebook live video and link.

Hello and welcome to my blog and to the Curvy Celebrations blog hop!
My project is a 2 page spread for day 6 of my December Daily. This year I am using the 6"x "8 Basic Black album and the matching pocket pages. The main items used for other pages so far are from the Wonder of the Season suite. Since the colours in the Classic Christmas DSP has 2 colours that are in the Wonder of the Season suite they work well together!

Hello all and welcome! Hard to believe it is December but today is the Global Stamping Friends blog hop. Our theme is Leaves & Vines. My project today is a 6"x 8" title page for my December Daily pocket page scrapbook.

The Dashing Deer stamp set and matching dies were perfect for pictures of our little excursion to find some deer in a field nearby my parent's home. And the Best Dressed designer series paper is very versatile for many projects. It was the perfect match for the deer images and pictures of our excursion.
Thank you to all that joined us last Saturday at our February crop in support of H'Art Kingston! And thank you for the wonderful feedback about our new location - the Salvation Army Church. It is a wonderful spot with lots of space, good lighting and easy to get to!
Thank you to those that joined us on Saturday at Crop Kingston's January Crop. This month our donations went to the St. Lawrence College Student Emergency Fund.
Hello and welcome to January's Ink & Share Scrapbook blog hop! This month we are sharing scrapbook pages created using any product from the Stampin' Up! catalogues!

My layout today is a really quick and easy one! These pictures are from a road trip we did in June 2008. I cannot remember why we went for a drive but love the pictures I took. This layout uses the Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series paper with Terracotta Tile, Balmy Blue and Pear Pizazz. The DSP has simple patterns and gold accents. During Sale-A-Bration you can earn this paper for free when you place a $60 order.
Happy New Year! Today I am sharing the projects from Crop Kingston's Fall Weekend Retreat we held back in October. Our Winter Weekend Retreat is coming up February 7 to 9. Registration closes on January 7th.
Welcome to my blog and December's Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop celebrating Holidays! With Christmas around the corner I pulled some pictures from December 2014 that were in pockets without the page being finished. I seem to say that a lot lately! But it's true! The pictures are printed and are waiting for me to go back and fill in the gaps with pretty paper and stamps. In January I will be working on filling in my gaps and sharing my scrapbooking journey here on my blog and over on www.Instagram.com/FromWhereIStamp. Follow me over on Instagram to see what I'm up to!
Thank you to those that joined us on November 23rd for Crop Kingston's all day crop. Each attendee received the Night Before Christmas 6"x6" designer series paper pack in their grab bags. Lisa and I provided make and takes using that pack of designer series paper that each person could create during the crop.
Hello and thank you to those that joined us last month for our October all-day crop in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities! Today I'm sharing with you our four make and takes. Make and takes are provided at each crop using product found in the grabs bags. This month each attendee received the Noble Peacock foil sheets.
A lovely day spent crafting this past Saturday! I completed a few projects that were on my to-do list. And yes, I make a to-do list for crop day or I either forget what I was supposed to make or forget something at home!
This pocket page uses the same pack of designer series paper as my last pocket page I shared on Sep 17 - the First Frost Specialty designer series paper but it has a different look and feel to it. This designer series paper is very versatile and I love the silver foil. Although if you watch me colouring in the snowflakes in the video you can tell that bright lights and silver foil make it hard to keep the colour between the lines!
These random photos taken in Manitoba, where we lived for a few years, are the perfect match for the Feels Like Frost specialty designer series paper. One side of the designer series paper has photographic images on one side and designs with silver foil on the other.
Welcome to our September Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop and our theme of Bundles! So much excitement with the new 2019 Holiday catalogue products being available this week. There are 25 new bundles in this new catalogue! And the best thing about bundles is the 10% savings when you purchase the items together using one item number! I decided to create a pocket page layout using the Perfectly Plaid bundle - a photopolymer stamp set and punch.

Thank you to all that join us this past Saturday for our August crop in support of Kingston Animal Rescue.

I had so much fun creating this month's card and pocket page for the crop! There was some fussy cutting for the flowers from the designer series paper. The only stamping on my projects were the greetings/title.
