The Taco Fiesta stamp is perfect for those who loves tacos! It includes images for chips & salsa, guacamole, avocado, jalapeno and even a piƱata with candy you can add! And the sayings are just so punny. Such as the one used on my card, You're NACHO average friend. You can paid this stamp set with a label die set such as the All That dies or use a rectangle shape instead if you don't own a Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine. This card was created using one of my 3 card sketches PDF. You can receive the 3 card sketches for free by subscribing to my email list here: http://Subscribe.FromWhereIStamp.ca.

Create a Christmas Scrapbook layout with the Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper
November 24, 2022
in Designer Series Paper, scrapbooking, Stampin' Cut & Emboss
These photos are from Christmas 1984. I'm so adorable holding onto my bear! I think those are different Christmas trees in each of the photos. One at my house and another at each of my grandparent's home. With Christmas soon to be here I enjoy looking back at photos from years past. To be reminded of traditions and people I haven't seen in awhile. Or to laugh at how we looked, or what presents were under the tree! Do you look back at your photos of the holidays or another time?

Today's project shows how you can create some cardstock pine trees and create a Christmas scrapbook layout using the Tree Lot Dies.
Make A Classic Card with the He's All That Bundle
May 24, 2022
in Birthday, card, die cutting, Embossing Folder, Stampin' Cut & Emboss
A great person should receive a puny card on their birthday, right? Along with this fun colour combo of Parakeet Party, Tahitian Tide and Mango Melody it's a fun way to send birthday wishes. The He's All That stamp set and All That dies paired with the Hive 3D embossing folder were used to create this card. And if you scroll down you'll find a list of products with links to my online store to purchase. I'm loving the All That dies for the label and the flags dies, there are many uses for these dies not just to coordinate with the stamp set but they will work with many other stamp sets as well.
Scrapbook Layout Using the He's The Man Suite

in Designer Series Paper, die cutting, scrapbooking, Stampin' Cut & Emboss, Suites, Videos
If you've ever get the chance to flip through my scrapbook albums, you would notice I create more pocket pages then traditional layouts. I find pocket pages easier to make decisions for what photos to add and how many pictures to include. When I started to play with the He's The Man Suite and how I could create a scrapbook layout with it I was drawn to create a layout inspired by 3"x 4" sized pockets.
Season's Blessing is Retiring
March 29, 2022
in card, Designer Series Paper, die cutting, Stampin' Cut & Emboss, Thank you, Variety
It's March and I'm still using Christmas inspired stamps and designer series paper! The main reason is to share with you that you can make a thankful card using the retiring Season's Blessings stamp set and Seasonal Basket dies and not make it Thanksgiving or Christmas related. The biggest choice you can make is when picking what colours you are going to create with. From the Tidings of Christmas designer series paper I chose Sahara Sand and Evening Evergreen. Then because it's spring I looked over the 10 colours in the Subtles Collection to see what would match. Sometimes I will stack the ink pads together to see what the colours look like but other times I'll pull pieces of cardstock from my file cabinet. Usually the cardstock is easier for me. From the Subtles this card has Calypso Coral and Soft Sea Foam. If you saw my card a few weeks ago you would've learned that Granny Apple Green is one of my least used colours and that applies to Calypso Coral too. Are there colours you won't use or have a hard time using?
New Horizons Scenes

in 3D Items, Designer Series Paper, die cutting, Stampin' Cut & Emboss, Techniques, Videos
These scenes make me think back to when I was a teenager... Whew I wrote that out and wondered if I'm old enough to say "think back" or does that make me sound older than I am? lol But it reminds me when I would paint with my watercolours to create landscape scenes. I haven't made a watercolour painting in a long time. So when I spied the New Horizon designer series paper I knew it was being added to my collection. Now that I have it I almost don't want to use it! It's so pretty!
Sailing Home Lighthouse Card
February 22, 2022
in card, die cutting, Stampin' Cut & Emboss, Thank you
This week I'm sharing projects with a water theme. Today's card was created using inspiration from my upline, Lisa Henderson. Each month she gives her team a creative and business challenge with different themes or ideas. A great way to keep us crafting and maybe try something new! For this month's creative challenge we needed to create a project inspired by the beach using the colours Coastal Cabana, Night of Navy and Silver. For silver the Silver Foil Specialty pack was perfect to provide 3 different shades behind the image along with a strip of Night of Navy and Smoky Slate. I had a hard time figuring out where the Coastal Cabana would fit but I'm ok with it being the card base colour, I think. Sometimes its easier to roll with using a colour as the base even if you think it might be wrong. What do you think? Was Coastal Cabana the correct one to use as my card base or should I have used a different colour?
Rainbow Of Happiness Card

in Birthday, card, Designer Series Paper, die cutting, Punches, Stampin' Cut & Emboss, Techniques, Variety
What do you think of the bright pink and mango with the softer blues and greens on this card? It makes me think of a stormy day then the sun pops out from behind the thundering clouds, creating a beautiful rainbow overhead. The blue clouds aren't stamped but found in the Sunshine & Rainbows designer series paper. And you can punch the clouds out using the Cloud Punch.
Coolest Penguin Place Card Idea
December 12, 2021
in card, Embossing Folder, Stampin' Cut & Emboss, Variety
Such lovely sentiments in the Penguin Place stamp set. This card I've used the "To the coolest friend ever" stamp but instead of stamping it as one piece I've split it up onto 2 lines. There are a few ways you can do that: use a Stampin' Write Marker to colour the section of words you want to stamp each time, cut apart the stamp to create 2 pieces, or you could use a sticky note to mask words that you don't want to touch the ink pad then remove the sticky note and stamp. Have you tried any of these techniques?
Penguin Place Christmas Ornaments
December 06, 2021
in 3D Items, Christmas, die cutting, Holidays, Stampin' Cut & Emboss
The penguin image from Stampin' Up!'s Penguin Place stamp set is adorable! And is the star of these Penguin Place Christmas Ornaments. Pair the stamp set and Penguin punch with Basic White and Smoky Slate cardstock, the Silver Foil Specialty pack and half of a plastic ball ornament, you can make these cute ornaments for your tree. If you wanted, you could fill some of the ornament with glitter or fake snow. I thought of it but didn't have either on hand. Or you could create this ornament without the plastic ornament piece itself. Since the plastic ornament has the hole for the ribbon you will need to either punch a small hole to thread the ribbon through or glue the ribbon to the backside of the scalloped circle.
