Have you started thinking about Christmas cards or making them yet? I figured that if I can make at least one or two Christmas cards each month that means there are less I need to make come November when I look at the list I'm sending cards to! An easy way to create Christmas Card is using the Santa Express Memories & More Card Pack.
Scrapbooking is what introduced me to Stampin' Up!. My friend, Andrea, shared that I could use stamps and ink to make embellishments for my scrapbook layouts instead of trying to find the right sticker! Over the years I've switched from what I call "normal layouts" like today's layout to pocket pages. Scroll on through this post to see how scrapbooking with Today is the Day Memories & More Card Pack can make it easier to craft layouts.
Are you someone who uses a planner? Or are you like me and use an app for that? I was intrigued when I saw the Making Plans Collection on page 19 of the Sale-A-Bration catalogue. During the demonstrator preorder in June, one of my favourite reasons to be a demonstrator, I was able to add the planner to my order so that I could play with all the pieces to share ideas on how you can use it! In this blog post I'll share 3 ideas of what to do with the Making Plans Collection and how you can receive it for free.
Pocket page scrapbooking is my favourite way to preserve my memories. To me it's less daunting then tackling a 12" x 12" empty page. Using pocket pages you can add multiple photos that wouldn't fit together on a traditional layout. And it makes me remember flipping through old photo albums at my parent's place. There was a certain photo album that had 4" x 6" pockets in it and I'm sure it was a Techniques gray album, as in Panasonic Techniques. My family sold and repaired consumer electronics for many years and we primarily sold Panasonic products. The photos were slipped into the pockets and the plastic made this noise that I can still "hear" to this day! I wonder if my mom still has it? Do you have a memory of looking through photo albums when you were younger?
Do you have old pictures of yourself as a child? Maybe I shouldn't say old? Hope that doesn't make me sound ancient. I love looking back at photos. Especially albums that my mom has and I have been slowly creating scrapbook layouts of pictures from my childhood so that I have my own copies of them.
Stampin' Up!'s Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack wasn't one I thought to use for Halloween crafting but this week I've shared projects using a variety of Memories & More card packs and I just had to make this one for an Instagram Reel using the It's Frickin' Bats audio. This card pack has a few Halloween colours: Pale Papaya, Garden Green and Mint Macaron. This card pack has some flowery designs but I covered up most of the design with a Garden Green die-cut.
I overlooked Stampin' Up!'s What A Year Memories & More card pack in the Annual Catalogue, mostly because it had pink in it! Do you ever decide something isn't for you based solely on the colour? There is a demonstrator Facebook page that I belong to where another demo shared a card that piqued my interested in the What A Year card pack and it was added to my next order (along with the Gingerbread & Peppermint Memories & More Card Pack).

Welcome to May's Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop and this month's theme is Brand New!
Since the NEW 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue started this past Tuesday it was perfect to design this scrapbook layout and use a NEW suite! The Hand-Penned Suite is a lovely subtle garden design with some of my favourite colours: Mint Macaron, Misty Moonlight and Pool Party. Another reason to love this suite is the coordinating Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack. The two 3x4" cards used on this layout are from this pack.

Hello all and welcome! Hard to believe it is December but today is the Global Stamping Friends blog hop. Our theme is Leaves & Vines. My project today is a 6"x 8" title page for my December Daily pocket page scrapbook.
This card was created during my Facebook live recently. The video is below if you missed watching it. Join me this Thursday at 7pm for my next live!

There are some wonderful sayings in the Tropical Oasis Memories & More card pack! I love the "Tropical State of Mind" saying over top of the flamingo! The 3"x4" card is layered onto a piece of Bermuda Bay cut 3.25"x4.25". The embossed strip on the note card is a 1.5"x5" Flirty Flamingo cardstock embossed with the Ornate Flowers 3D embossing folder. To highlight the embossed image I used Sponge Daubers to put Flirty Flamingo ink on the raised image. On the envelope I trimmed a leftover piece from another card to make the envelope pretty.
A 2.75"x3.5" piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock was embossed with the Brick and Mortar 3D embossing folder and glued to the Note card base. You could leave the cardstock plain but I love embossed cardstock! To dress up the "Love your smile" 3"x4" card I fussy cut a pineapple and banana image from another card and popped it up onto dimensionals. Behind this I put a flower punched using the Small Bloom punch (available in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue) to cover up the smaller bananas and pineapple that the cut out image wasn't going to cover.

These cards were created during my Facebook live last week. The video is below if you missed watching it. Join me this Thursday at 7pm for my next live!

Hello and welcome to May's Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop! We are creating projects using the Stitched theme. My card today features the Rectangle Stitched dies.
Earlier this week I hosted an online workshop and used the retiring Come Sail Away Memories and More card pack to create some projects. While I had the supplies out I created this card. The Come Sail Away Memories & More card pack is perfect for creating a monochromatic card.

To create this card I cut out the sailboat image and the anchor image piece using the Rectangle Stitched dies. The sailboat card was layered onto a piece of Night of Navy card stock and popped up onto Dimensionals. Behind the sailboat is a 3"x4" lighthouse card that was cut into two pieces to extend the card to make it look like a longer piece. The sailboat card covers the gap. The Balmy Blue strip of card stock measures 3.875"x4.25" and the bottom was trimmed with one of the larger Rectangle Stitched dies. The card base is a 4.25"x8.5" piece of Seaside Spray card stock. One of the Sail Away Trinkets and a sentiment stick from the Memories & More card pack finishes off the card.

A quick card for the team meeting swap last Sunday. The lily card isn't my cup of tea but I cut it in half at 3" so the card went from 4"x6" to two pieces each measuring 4"x3" in size. Each Memories & More card pack comes with 2 of each design so I was able to create 4 cards. The Old Olive piece (darker green) was embossed using the Coastal Weave 3D embossing folder. Each Memories & More card pack comes with 4 sticker sheets - 2 sheets each of design. This is where the word enjoy comes from.

Soft Sea Foam isn't one of the colours listed on the Tropical Oasis Memories & More card pack but it works well with this card! The flowers were stamped and die cut using the Timeless Tropical bundle.

Welcome to today's Global Stamping Friends Extraordinary Blog Hop - celebrating the group's 3 year anniversary! So naturally the theme is Anniversaries. I hope that you will click through everyone's blog to see their wonderful creations.

This challenge was a little tough for me. I went looking for pictures of my husband and I on our anniversary but cannot find any that were not scrapped already! So I've created this card to give to him this November for our 20 year anniversary of being together. Our wedding anniversary was in June and I didn't make him a card - gasp! So this will be perfect! This card has many different elements from the Come Sail Away Suite: designer series paper, memories & more card pack, and trinkets. I love how all these elements work so well together! You can check out my online store to view this suite here: https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/products/201012/come-sail-away?demoid=2157916
