How to Create a Birthday Scrapbook Layout with the Bright & Beautiful DSP

Griffin's birthday is coming up really soon! He turns 11 on May 1 and he is the best dog ever! Since his birthday is the next one in the family it was the best opportunity to create a layout to not only be ready to print the photos and add them with some journaling but to use new products! The Bright & Beautiful 6" x 6" designer series paper has some fun designs and contains 10 of the 11 new core colours. The stripe band was created using two pieces of the designer series paper and the two smaller photo layers are from the same pack. The larger photo layer is Blueberry Bushel cardstock. The new Circle Sayings stamp set and 2-3/8" Circle Punch bundle makes creating this layout fun! I stamped the celebrate circle using Pretty Peacock ink onto Lemon Lime Twist cardstock. So happy that Pretty Peacock has returned as it's one of my favourite old In Colors. This Colour Refresh has brought back some great colours and I look forward to sharing the new colours with you! The cupcake ended up being taller than I thought so I had to make my Lost Lagoon banner taller to fit it! The liner was coloured in using Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends and the icing with the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.
