Showing posts with label Christmas

When I saw the Christmas Gifting kit I knew I had to order it just for the deer because my husband is a hunter. Perfect for tags for his presents this year! I didn't realize the tags would also have gift card holders!

Stampin' Up! have these amazing kits that you can assemble as designed, create your own version by swapping elements around or add-on some additional supplies to create a one-of-a-kind project! Sometimes there is product available in one of the catalogues that works really well with the kit and sometimes you just need a different sentiment to add. In my paper drawer I had some Painted Christmas designer series paper left so I pulled out the pieces and discovered a full 12" x 12" sheet of the pinecone design. Perfect to match the pinecones in this kit and for the base of my scrapbook layout.

The Silver & Gold 6x6 DSP is really pretty but lacks some colour. The best thing about this paper is that you can add your own colour very easily! For today's card you'll learn how to use the Stampin' Blends to colour the Silver & Gold Designer Series Paper (DSP). I hadn't tried using Stampin' Blends with this paper before and I love how it turned out!

Have you started thinking about Christmas cards or making them yet? I figured that if I can make at least one or two Christmas cards each month that means there are less I need to make come November when I look at the list I'm sending cards to! An easy way to create Christmas Card is using the Santa Express Memories & More Card Pack.
July is World Watercolour Month. I love to watercolour so this is a great excuse to show you some tips and tricks to create a Yeti to Party Christmas card using the Watercolour Pencils. Today's card uses the Yeti to Party stamp set. It's adorable & perfect for birthdays and Christmas!
Do you like pine trees? I think pine trees are one of my favourite objects to take pictures of, second only to taking pictures of neat looking clouds. Why am I talking about pine trees? Today's project shows how you can create some cardstock pine trees and create a Christmas scrapbook layout using the Tree Lot Dies.
The penguin image from Stampin' Up!'s Penguin Place stamp set is adorable! And is the star of these Penguin Place Christmas Ornaments. Pair the stamp set and Penguin punch with Basic White and Smoky Slate cardstock, the Silver Foil Specialty pack and half of a plastic ball ornament, you can make these cute ornaments for your tree. If you wanted, you could fill some of the ornament with glitter or fake snow. I thought of it but didn't have either on hand. Or you could create this ornament without the plastic ornament piece itself. Since the plastic ornament has the hole for the ribbon you will need to either punch a small hole to thread the ribbon through or glue the ribbon to the backside of the scalloped circle.
Hello and welcome to my blog! We are sharing projects using the November Paper Pumpkin kit called Gifts Galore. The kit includes die-cut large snowmen, Christmas trees and piles of presents. Then a box is attached to the back of those die-cuts designed to hold the decorated sleeve that you can fill with treats.

Hello! In today's Pretty Cards & Paper November blog hop you will see projects made with the Peaceful Place designer series paper.
The gorgeous metallic accents in the Peaceful Place specialty designer series paper will help your projects pop! Included in this 12" x 12" pack of paper are 12 sheets of patterned paper: 2 each of 6 double-sided designs. One side of each has some metallic accents such as falling snow or woodgrain. Although this paper is monochromatic including Basic Black, Basic Gray, Smoky Slate you could colour in the sheets to change the look or stamp on the white portions.

Welcome to November's Global Stamping Friends blog hop. Today we are sharing projects with a snowflake theme and the best snowflake item in the Jul-Dec Mini Catalogue is the Peaceful Place Specialty designer series paper. The gorgeous metallic accents in this pack of paper makes this card pop!

Welcome to October's Colour Combo blog hop! Our colours for today's hop are Coastal Cabana, Basic Gray and Real Red. My first thought was to create a Christmas card using the Penguin Place stamp set but my nephew loves penguins and I needed a card just for him!

Welcome to September's Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop! Today we are showcasing the 12 bundles listed on page 19 of the Sale-A-Bration brochure. You can choose one of these bundles free when you purchase the starter kit before Sep 30, 2021. Make sure to scroll through to see the blog list for more ideas.

The Peaceful Cabin bundle can be found on page 38 of the Jul-Dec Mini Catalogue and is part of the Peaceful Place Suite. This suite's colour combinations is Smoky Slate, Basic Gray, Black & Silver. For my first order I overlooked the Peaceful Place Specialty designer series paper but spied some projects using this gorgeous paper on Instagram and knew it was joining my DSP collection! It has silver foil on some of the designs.

Hello and welcome to the next stop in August's Pretty Cards and Paper blog hop. My project uses the Peaceful Prints designer series paper.
Isn't the tree design so pretty? Usually I start a scrapbook page with photos but this time I started with the designer series paper. If you're unsure of where to start with creating a layout Pinterest is a great place to start. Another option is to cut some paper and place it down, more items around a bit, or maybe walk away from the layout for an hour or two.

Inside the Annual Catalogue you can find the Holidays Section starting on page 88. The Tidings of Christmas suite uses the traditional colours I like to use for Christmas: greens and red. There is a coordinating stamp set & die bundle that is designed to work with the Tidings of Christmas designer series paper. But you could use any Christmas or Holiday themed stamp set with it. I've used the Season's Blessing stamp set and now the Perfectly Plaid stamp set.

Merry Christmas Eve friend! One more Christmas card to share with you before the big day. This card features the Christmas Means More stamp set and the 'Tis The Season designer series paper. Using a colour not listed on the designer series paper is a great way to make your image or sentiment pop! On this card I've used Rich Razzleberry. And do you see those Iridescent Pearls? They are green or purple or blue depending on the light! A great edition to this card.

Melon Mambo isn't a colour I would normally use for Christmas but it was one of the colours used in the Plaid Tidings designer series paper and it paired along with Misty Moonlight creates a gorgeous non-traditional Christmas colour combo. What colours do you like using on your cards?

Welcome! December's Colour Combo is Gray Granite, Real Red and Cinnamon Cider. A great combo for Christmas an many other projects.
Can you smell the cinnamon when you use Cinnamon Cider cardstock or ink? It makes me think of apple cider simmering on the stove with cinnamon sticks. Yum! Maybe I should heat some up today. Do you have a warm drink you like to drink during the cooler months? It would be neat to hear about your favourite that I could try.

Have you noticed the Gold Cards & Envelopes in the Aug-Dec Mini Catalogue? I love the gold design on the cards. A great base for Christmas cards! Keep in mind that these Gold Cards & Envelopes are retiring and only available while supplies last. Don't your love the saying on this card? The Christmas Means More stamp set is a great set with seasonal sentiments. In the card above its stamped with Memento black ink with the ivy coloured in with Stampin' Blends.

Hello and welcome to my blog and to the Curvy Celebrations blog hop!
My project is a 2 page spread for day 6 of my December Daily. This year I am using the 6"x "8 Basic Black album and the matching pocket pages. The main items used for other pages so far are from the Wonder of the Season suite. Since the colours in the Classic Christmas DSP has 2 colours that are in the Wonder of the Season suite they work well together!
