Hello!

Welcome to my blog.

Use a Template to Create More Layouts

With December here it's time to think about what photos we want to take and if there are any fun activities we'll do. And we want to preserve those memories so that we can look back on them. I've used the Beary Christmas suite to create this page from December 2022. They are pictures of before and during a snow storm. We didn't receive as much snow as they called for.

What adhesive to use on your scrapbook pages?

Choosing the right adhesive is important to ensure that your scrapbooking creations stand the test of time. You don't want to flip open a scrapbook to see photos or cardstock falling off the pages! I've had to adhere some items onto pages before when I first started scrapbooking and it's not a nice feeling to see a page you worked so hard on fall apart. Read on for what I use and what you need to use for your crafting needs.

Do You Use Traditional Colours on Scrapbook Layouts?

Do you have certain colours you use the most when creating Christmas pages? Such as reds and greens? Or do you pick non-traditional colours? Using classic or traditional colors can give your scrapbook pages a festive and timeless feel. But switching out the colours to what could be non-traditional colours is also an option.

Create a Halloween Scrapbook Layout

I'm not one for a spooky Halloween but I love carving pumpkins! The fun and bright colours are pulled from the Stargazing designer series paper (DSP). And you can create your own fun Jack O'Lanterns using the Pick of the Patch bundle.

Create a Harvest Scrapbook Layout

This week on Facebook I asked you what fall activity pictures do you like taking the most? The fall leaves, apple picking, the pumpkin patch or the garden harvest. For someone like me, who's favourite season is autumn, it can be hard to pick which one! Maybe you pick based on how many photos you've taken of each one! The one with the most photos taken wins? So far this fall the most photos would be produce from our garden.
