Hello and welcome to May's Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop! We are creating projects using the Stitched theme. My card today features the Rectangle Stitched dies.
Earlier this week I hosted an online workshop and used the retiring Come Sail Away Memories and More card pack to create some projects. While I had the supplies out I created this card. The Come Sail Away Memories & More card pack is perfect for creating a monochromatic card.

To create this card I cut out the sailboat image and the anchor image piece using the Rectangle Stitched dies. The sailboat card was layered onto a piece of Night of Navy card stock and popped up onto Dimensionals. Behind the sailboat is a 3"x4" lighthouse card that was cut into two pieces to extend the card to make it look like a longer piece. The sailboat card covers the gap. The Balmy Blue strip of card stock measures 3.875"x4.25" and the bottom was trimmed with one of the larger Rectangle Stitched dies. The card base is a 4.25"x8.5" piece of Seaside Spray card stock. One of the Sail Away Trinkets and a sentiment stick from the Memories & More card pack finishes off the card.

The Peaceful Poppies Elements are retiring at the beginning of June. They are pre-cut elements that you can colour or leave as they are! There are multiple sheets in the pack. Some black embossed pieces such as the scalloped piece I used as a trim in my card, poppies & leaves embossed onto Vellum and also onto water colour paper. For this card I used an Aqua Painter with Rich Razzleberry and Poppy Parade inks to water colour wash one of the pieces. Then after it was dried I placed one of the vellum poppies on top. To finish off the flower I added a pearl to the center. If you would like to order the Peaceful Poppies Elements I recommend ordering them soon as they might sell out fast.

This card was created during my Facebook live recently. The video is below if you missed watching it. Join me tonight at 7pm for my next live!

The Dashing Deer stamp set and matching dies were perfect for pictures of our little excursion to find some deer in a field nearby my parent's home. And the Best Dressed designer series paper is very versatile for many projects. It was the perfect match for the deer images and pictures of our excursion.
The Ornate Garden suite is an early release of product that will be available in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue. I stamped the Ornate Style stamp onto Soft Sea Foam card stock using Memento ink. Then coloured in the images using Stampin' Blends. If you look closely at the photo above you will notice that some of the colours did bleed a bit. Coloured card stock is not the best to use with Stampin' Blends - Whisper White or Very Vanilla card stock is the preferred ones to use. When using the Blends on coloured card stock try and use a small amount and not over blend or colour the image. This will limit the amount of bleeding that happens.

My upline's April team meeting was held on Zoom. It was great to see everyone. Lisa had given us a list of products needed for our make and take card. I started with choosing a piece of designer series paper to use. Then went through my card stock to see what colours I wanted to pair with it. Ended up being Shaded Spruce for the card base, Soft Sea Foam for the Label Me Lovely Punch and the strip along the designer series paper, and Old Olive & Garden Green scraps for the Leaf Punch.

Everyone's turned out differently depending on what we chose! Definitely a great way to get together during this weird time of COVID-19.

In April my mother and Nannie (grandmother) have birthdays. The Strong & Beautiful stamp set has some awesome sentiments. And this stamp set also perfect for Mother's Day. With the weather feeling springy, except for today as an arctic cold front moves through, the Best Dressed designer series paper and it's floral print designs bring a smile to my face.

Join me live on Tue Apr 28th at 7pm or catch the action after over on my Online Monthly Workshop Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/266053647891781. I'll teach you several card ideas and other paper crafting projects. Look forward to seeing you there!
For the past few weeks Stampin' Up! has given demonstrators a #KeepStamping challenge on the Demonstrator Facebook page. This week we were given a colour challenge.
Welcome to the Global Stamping Friends April Blog Hop! Our theme this month is Twisted - use a product in a different way than originally designed or create one project and then change it into another project!
I was stumped at first what I wanted to create! My creativity lately has been very low with our lives being changed by the COVID-19 virus. But last Saturday I helped run an online crop instead of an all-day crop we normally do and it sparked my crafting.
A quick card for the team meeting swap last Sunday. The lily card isn't my cup of tea but I cut it in half at 3" so the card went from 4"x6" to two pieces each measuring 4"x3" in size. Each Memories & More card pack comes with 2 of each design so I was able to create 4 cards. The Old Olive piece (darker green) was embossed using the Coastal Weave 3D embossing folder. Each Memories & More card pack comes with 4 sticker sheets - 2 sheets each of design. This is where the word enjoy comes from.

A pretty and very spring like card! Wasn't sure what I wanted to create but love how this turned out. Started by picking out a piece of flower designs from the Best Dressed designer series paper. Then stamped one of the bird from Free As A Bird stamp set. The Sentiment is from the Sending You Thoughts stamp set, one of the Sale-A-Bration items you can earn free with a $60 order.

Welcome to our March Global Stamping Friends blog hop! We are celebrating Spring this month by creating projects using a spring theme!

The roses and leaves are fussy cut from a partial sheet of the designer series paper. Since some of the roses were cut from the edges of the paper I decided to use that to create a flower strip by gluing the roses to a piece of So Saffron card stock. The Whisper White card stock was stamped with the Birch background stamp using Gray Granite ink. To finish off the card I added the Happy Birthday greeting from the Sending You Thoughts Sale-A-Bration stamp set. You can earn this stamp set for free with a $60 order.

The Best Dressed designer series paper wasn't one I thought I would use. This suite is so not me! But I LOVE the designer series paper! I've used this paper for different cards and a few pocket pages.

We would love for you to join us for our next all-day crop on Saturday March 22rd in support of Martha's Table. We will be at our NEW location: Salvation Army Church in Kingston, Ontario. Register by March 7th http://bit.ly/CKFeb2020Crop
It's fun taking projects from any of the catalogues and recreating or CASE them! My card turned out a little different since I used a larger Stitched Nested Labels than the original but it still works. See below for the original version. I used a piece of Parisian Blossoms specialty designer series paper. I just noticed looking at the image below they used a black marker to highlight the inside of the flowers. I added some Pearls coloured with a Basic Black dark Stampin' Blend.

Thank you to all that joined us last Saturday at our February crop in support of H'Art Kingston! And thank you for the wonderful feedback about our new location - the Salvation Army Church. It is a wonderful spot with lots of space, good lighting and easy to get to!
I used February's Paper Pumpkin last week during my Facebook live. I changed up the design and added some die cut leaves from the Birthday dies.

This kit contains some beautiful cards. I love the sticky die cut foam greetings! They are champagne or rose gold in colour and make the cards pop! I started working on more cards from this kit at the crop this past Saturday but wasn't successful putting many together as I started late in the day.
Soft Sea Foam isn't one of the colours listed on the Tropical Oasis Memories & More card pack but it works well with this card! The flowers were stamped and die cut using the Timeless Tropical bundle.

Welcome to February's Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop. This month we have a great sketch for inspiration!

The hardest part for me with sketches is finding the right photo to use. I went digging through my old photos to find this one of my family when we were camping somewhere. Haven't figured out what date (1988??) or where it was yet, so no journaling. I love that I have a swim ring on and a visor!
During Crop Kingston's Winter Retreat a few weekends ago I held a No Line Water Colouring class and this is the card we made. We started with the Forever Blossoms stamp set stamped in Sahara Sand. Then using an Aqua Painter and ink refills with water we coloured in the image. Using a light coloured ink is the most important part.

My upline organized a mailed team Swap in December. Swaps are fun to participate in! For my card I used the Lily Pad stamp set and the Lily Impressions designer series paper on my card, both are products that can be earned for free during Sale-A-Bration.

I stamped the backside of the lily stamp first using Rich Razzelberry ink and then once dry, emboss the lily image in gold.

A fun and quick card using the Tropical Oasis designer series paper! We created this card at January's Cards & Chocolate card class. Instead of using the new Timeless Tropical Bundle we used the Tropical Chic stamp set and matching Tropical dies from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue.
