These scenes make me think back to when I was a teenager... Whew I wrote that out and wondered if I'm old enough to say "think back" or does that make me sound older than I am? lol But it reminds me when I would paint with my watercolours to create landscape scenes. I haven't made a watercolour painting in a long time. So when I spied the New Horizon designer series paper I knew it was being added to my collection. Now that I have it I almost don't want to use it! It's so pretty!
The penguin image from Stampin' Up!'s Penguin Place stamp set is adorable! And is the star of these Penguin Place Christmas Ornaments. Pair the stamp set and Penguin punch with Basic White and Smoky Slate cardstock, the Silver Foil Specialty pack and half of a plastic ball ornament, you can make these cute ornaments for your tree. If you wanted, you could fill some of the ornament with glitter or fake snow. I thought of it but didn't have either on hand. Or you could create this ornament without the plastic ornament piece itself. Since the plastic ornament has the hole for the ribbon you will need to either punch a small hole to thread the ribbon through or glue the ribbon to the backside of the scalloped circle.

Last night during the Winter Picnic Party in my Facebook group I shared the decorated Mini Paper Pumpkin box and the 2 cards on the left. Tonight I'm sharing how to create two more cards during my Facebook Live. This beautiful set that would be a great gift for a friend or family member to brighten their day!

These Note Cards are 3.5" wide and 5" tall and the Mini Paper Pumpkin boxes are 5-7/8" x 3-3/4" x 1".

In case you've never joined me for a Facebook live, I go live every week on Thursday at 7:30pm Eastern on my From Where I Stamp page: https://www.facebook.com/FromWhereIStamp. Everyone is welcome to join! If you are unable to join me live you'll find the recording below towatch:

Welcome to November's Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop! This month we are sharing projects with the theme of Holidays.
These adorable and bright treat holders were thank you gifts Lisa and I created to hand out to our Crop Kingston Winter Retreat in February. We used the retiring Pineapple Punch and Call Me Clover cardstock when we die cut the images. The bag above was created using the All Dressed Up dies and the In the Tropics dies for the pineapple and leaf images. Inside the mini purse we included a package of ribbon and buttons that were available during Sale-A-Bration along with some lollipops!
This small thank you gift was created using the Mini Curvy Keepsakes box. You could add some dimension to the outside using the Subtle embossing folder or stamping on it with either Pineapple Punch or Crushed Curry ink. So many options to dress up this little package! Inside we included some small fruit candies and yes, some of them were pineapple flavoured!

Welcome to our December Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop! Our theme this month if Foil and Glimmer - perfect for holiday celebrating! This month I'm sharing a 3D project that we created at a class during Crop Kingston's Fall Retreat in October.

We coloured a Baker's box using a Sponge Brayer, Mossy Meadow ink and Frost White Shimmer Paint. The ink and shimmer paint are mixed together with a small amount of water and then spread onto the Baker's box using the Sponge Brayer. You could also use a sponge or sponge dauber to paint the outside of the box.

Inside there are 4 Mini Curvy Keepsake boxes perfect to fill with chocolate, candy or small gifts!

I put this Christmas Countdown project kit together a few weeks ago live on Facebook. So love how it turned out and I look forward to filling it with Ferrero Rocher so that I can countdown to Christmas! During my Facebook live, which you can watch below, I used different stamps than the suggested Christmas Countdown stamp set - the Nature's Beauty and Merry Moose stamp sets. But did use the ink colours they suggested, Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso and Mossy Meadow. This kit can be assembled without a stamp set as well as there was quite a few die-cut pieces leftover.

The boxes are 2" cubes and can hold many different items. The boxes do come out of the cubby-hole easily so you could decorate the back of them for another countdown - Easter, birthday or other fun event! There is still time to order this project kit - it would arrive the first part of December to you but then you can enjoy the chocolate for multiple days all at once!
