The penguin image from Stampin' Up!'s Penguin Place stamp set is adorable! And is the star of these Penguin Place Christmas Ornaments. Pair the stamp set and Penguin punch with Basic White and Smoky Slate cardstock, the Silver Foil Specialty pack and half of a plastic ball ornament, you can make these cute ornaments for your tree. If you wanted, you could fill some of the ornament with glitter or fake snow. I thought of it but didn't have either on hand. Or you could create this ornament without the plastic ornament piece itself. Since the plastic ornament has the hole for the ribbon you will need to either punch a small hole to thread the ribbon through or glue the ribbon to the backside of the scalloped circle.
How you can create these ornaments: Use the Layering Circles dies to cut one scalloped circle from the Silver Foil, using the plastic ornament for sizing. I found a package of plastic ornaments at Dollarama to use. Next up die cut 3 smaller circles, two from Basic White cardstock and one from Smoky Slate cardstock. Rip these in half. This will give you enough half circles to make 2 ornaments. Glue the half circles onto the Silver Foil scallop. I layered Basic White, Smoky Slate then Basic White with the nicer looking ripped edge showing. To add some sparkle to the ripped edges use some Wink of Stella. Add as little or as much as you want to get the sparkle to be what you want. Next up stamp the penguin and punch, making sure to stamp any accessories and cut those out as well. Layer the penguin over your snow mountain. The next part is where you'll need Stampin' Up!'s Fine Tip glue to adhere the plastic ornament half onto the scalloped Silver Foil. If you are adding glitter or snow to the ornament make sure to add it to the bulb before gluing it to the scalloped piece. Finish off the ornament with a piece of ribbon so you can hang it up!

Would you make an ornament like this one for your tree or to give to a friend? I hope to give these to my nephew who loves penguins!
