Last month at the team meeting we were able to create this adorable truck! The die cuts out the truck with tabs that you fold but make sure to stamp the front grill, doors and windows on before assembly. I had a hard time deciding whether the truck needed front wheel wells or not. It still looks a little wonky to me but I'm not going to change it.

Hello! Welcome to July's Scrapbook Global Blog Hop. Our theme this month is travel. I found these train trip pictures from March 2008 that were waiting to be scrapped and a perfect fit for this month's theme!
Happy Christmas in July! Last week was the Stampin' Up! Incentive trip to the Greek Isles. While I didn't earn the trip it was fun to watch other demonstrators from around the world share pictures of the 2019 Holiday Catalogue. It put me in the Christmas spirit and I knew that a Christmas card would be a perfect swap card for Sunday's team meeting!

My brother gave me the Dashing Deer stamp set for Christmas last year and I believe this is the first time I've used it! When first looking at the stamp set I thought the doe and buck were one stamp but they are not, but they are perfectly sized to work together. I used the Stamparatus to stamp all my images since I was making 3 cards. It allowed me to get the stamped images to show up in just the right spot on all of my swaps.

Supplies
Stamps: Dashing Deer, Buffalo Check background
Colours: Merry Merlot, Pretty Peacock, Very Vanilla, Gold
Accessories: Versamark, Gold Embossing Powder, Layering Oval dies, Stampin' Dimensionals, Stamparatus

Fireworks! Since last week was Canada Day I thought scraping these photos was a good idea to do on my Facebook live. If you haven't watched yet you will most likely hear me talk about not liking the page and how it wasn't turning out for me the way I thought! Now that a few days has passed I really do like this page! What do you think? - leave me a comment below if you'd like.
This is my second card I made using the Dino Days stamp set. I really wanted to use this dinosaur on my first card but the neck was soooo long the head was the only part that would've showed on the card! It looked silly for it to float there so I decided to create this card.

This Dinoroar Suite has designer series paper, stamp set, die set and enamel shapes! You can see the whole Dinoroar suite here: https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/products/201008/dinoroar?dbwsdemoid2157916

Welcome to June's Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop! Our theme this month is Birthdays and Parties.

I found these pictures of Hoover waiting to be scrapped and knew they would be perfect for today's blog hop. The background paper is a sheet from the Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper pack. The frame around the main photo was made using the largest die of the Rectangle Stitched dies, then trimmed around the outside to create the thickness I wanted. I discovered when creating this page that the only current stamp set I have with candles or birthday hats was the Celebrate with Cake stamp set from the Stamping for Beginners brochure but it is a perfect fit!

Supplies
Stamps:  Celebrate with Cake
Colours:  Seaside Spray, Sahara Sand, Early Espresso, Whisper White
Accessories:  Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper, Rectangle Stitched dies, Everyday Label Punch, Ribbon Punch Stampin' Dimensionals

Blog Hop List:
Welcome! Thank you to those that came to my Chocolate & Cards event last night at my home. We ate mini Mars bars and Peanut M&Ms while we crafted! Today's card is one we made last night.

I was inspired from a swap card I received at my upline's team meeting this past Sunday from Vicki. She used the Free as a Bird suite for her entire card. I was going to copy her exact card, had everything cut and ready to stamp and assemble. Then when I was going to glue the designer series paper onto the card base I noticed the gulls and decided to switch up the card and use the Sailing Home stamp set instead!

Supplies
Stamps: Sailing Home
Colours: Bermuda Bay, Pool Party, Basic Gray, Whisper White
Accessories: Smooth Sailing dies, Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper, Stitched Nested Dies, Stampin' Dimensionals

Hello! Today I am sharing a two page spread using pocket pages that I was working on during my Facebook live last week. Friday night I took some time to finish the left side page since I did not have time while live to do so.
Thank you to everyone that joined us last month for our All Day Crop in support of Partner's In Mission Food Bank here in Kingston. Myself and another demonstrator have teamed up to run Crop Kingston that runs all day crops almost every month and 2 weekend retreats! At our all day crops we have 4 make and takes - a card, a pocket page, a 12"x12" scrapbook page and a 3D item for everyone to make using product in their grab bags.
A birthday card for a coworker! The 6.25" by 4.25" card was the perfect size for the four of us at work to fill out our birthday greetings. This card features new product that will be available on June 4th. The Mosaic Mood Specialty Designer Series Paper is gorgeous! I fussy cut the hummingbird from that paper and used a different piece for the background. If you need a catalogue please contact me if you live in Canada so I can send you a catalogue!

Welcome to May's Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop - focusing on Flowers and Leaves.

At Onstage a few weeks ago we were given a pack of the new Mosaic Mood Specialty Designer Series Paper that will be in the 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue starting in June. One side of this DSP has shiny accents and it has bright bold patterns. At first I thought the design on the sheets were too busy for me but then I found a card on Instagram by Janina Baltrusch and I cased it! The large leaves, butterfly and bee are all cut from the Designer Series Paper. Whereas the other leaves are cut out using the Leaf Punch.

Supplies
Stamps: Stitched All Around (greeting)
Colours: Crushed Curry, Mint Macaroon, Garden Green, Whisper White
Accessories: Leaf Punch, Mosaic Mood Specialty Designer Series Paper, Rhinestones, Stitched Shapes Dies, Stampin' Dimensionals, Linen Thread, Subtle Embossing Folder

The day before Onstage I decided to create some 3D swaps to use as roommate gifts, new table friend gifts and swaps if there were any left over. For this swap my goal was to use the Best Catch bundle in the Occasion catalogue and gummy fish inside the pizza boxes. I started with an idea to use a circle of velum as a peek hole in the pizza box, embossed the vellum with the Seaside Embossing Folder and then coloured it blue. That idea failed, the velum wasn't see-though enough to see the gummy fish I was putting inside.

My second idea was to use a square of Window sheet, emboss it and then colour it blue using a Stampin' Blend. It turned out okay, but still not transparent enough because I coloured it blue! So my final design has a clear Window Sheet that is embossed with the Seaside Embossing Folder and left uncoloured. I used a Stampin' Spritzer with rubbing alcohol and 7 drops of Balmy Blue ink refill to spritz the outsides of the pizza boxes before assembling them.

The fish were coloured using a variety of Stampin' Blends. Mixing different colours, such as Cajun Craze and Crumb Cake together is a first for me but I love how it turned out! Did you notice that the die for the fish has cut outs for the fins? Looks awesome doesn't it?

Supplies
Stamps: Best Catch
Colours: Balmy Blue, Old Olive, Garden Green
Accessories: Window Sheets, Stampin' Spritzer, Catch of the Day dies, Pizza boxes, Mini Glue Dots, Stampin' Blends in various colours, Seaside Embossing Folder, Layering Circle dies

Welcome to a Extra Ordinary Blog Hop to celebrate new products coming in June with the 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue or products that will be carrying over from the current catalogues!

Last weekend at Onstage in Quebec City was a blast! There were 6 of us that travelled the 6.5 hour drive for a weekend getaway. At Onstage there were about 450 demonstrators from across Canada and from the US as well. The above card was our make and take at Onstage. The card base is a Note Card with the new Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper covering the card front. I wanted to share a new version of this card using products I was able to order early. Demonstrators that attend Onstage have an early chance to order from a Product Purchase Premiere and I made sure to order the Come Sail Away suite!

For this card I tried to mimic similar elements from the Onstage Make and Take card. The anchor was stamped and embossed in Silver and then die cut, instead of the lighthouse I used the sailboat and the die cut rope instead of the Baker's Twine. These 2 cards would work as part of a card gift set for anyone!

Supplies
Stamps: Sailing Home
Colours: Night of Navy, Soft Suede, Smokey Slate
Accessories: Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper, Smooth Sailing Dies, Sail Away Trinkets, Night of Navy/Sahara Sand Baker's Twine, Note Cards, Tailored Tag Punch, Everyday Label Punch, Silver Embossing Powder, Stampin Dimensionals.

Onstage in Quebec City was a blast! The drive there and back was uneventful, other than rush hour traffic on Fri - that was insane! Quebec City is a beautiful spot to walk around even with the steep and tall hills. Check out my Instagram feed for some pictures of my weekend away - www.instagram.com/FromWhereIStamp.

Today I'm sharing my second swap that I made up for Onstage. I haven't looked through the swaps I received back yet but hope to share some of those within the next few weeks! Since I made 20 of these I wanted a simpler design with few layers. My Stamparatus was very helpful to creating this card quickly. The bass and the lure were stamped in Night of Navy while the bubbles were in Balmy Blue. For the cattails I coloured in the top part with a Bronze Stampin' Blend.

Stamps: Best Catch
Colours: Gray Granite, Night of Navy, Old Olive, Balmy Blue

Onstage Swap #1

April 13, 2019 in , ,
This card is cased from one I saw on Pinterest. The original card used designer series paper from the Holiday Catalogue so I switched it to the Wood Textured Designer Series Paper. I had a lot of scraps that were perfect for this card! I made about 20 of these cards as swaps for today's Quebec City Onstage that I am attending. Head over to Instagram to check out the excitement as I will be sharing photos of today's events - www.instagram.com/FromWhereIStamp

Supplies
Stamps: Country Home
Colours: Rich Razzelberry, Crushed Curry, Whisper White
Accessories: Tin Tile Textured Embossing Folder, Leaf Punch, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Stampin' Dimensionals, Wood Textures Designer Series Paper

There has been a buzz the last while online about the Floating Frame technique and I thought it would be neat to try it for a swap card that I needed for the team meeting this past Sunday. The technique calls for Press and Seal wrap but someone had mentioned on the Demonstrator Facebook page her idea of doing the technique without the wrap. First I cut out the frame with the Stitched Rectangle dies and then embossed it using the Seaside Embossing Folder. Ahead of time I stamped and die cut the images. Once the frame was ready I placed the image on the frame, then used my scissors to trim the pieces that hung past the edges. The images then are popped up on the Mini Stampin' Dimensionals and placed on the frame. To finish the card adhere the frame to the card base and stamp the greeting in the middle.

Supplies
Stamps: Sea of Textures, Humming Along (sentiment)
Colours: Soft Sea Foam, Blackberry Bliss, Crumb Cake, Whisper White
Accessories: Seaside Embossing Folder, Under the Sea Framelits, Mini Stampin' Dimensionals

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Crop Kingston's March Crop in support of Martha's Table. I was able to work on my swaps for Onstage in April - hard to believe April is next week already! For our Make & Takes we used the Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper that was in each participant's grab bag.
With St. Patrick's Day coming up very soon I made this card using the Shamrock stamp from the Amazing life stamp set. It has a little bit of flare with the Gold Glimmer scalloped circle! I struggle to use the Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper. I started with a piece of Lemon Lime Twist sheet from the pack and added colours until I had something that would work for St. Patrick's day. Sometimes we just have to throw things together to see what it makes!

Supplies
Stamps: Amazing Life
Colours: Smokey Slate, Call Me Clover
Accessories: Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper, Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends, Gold Glimmer Paper, Layering Circle Framelits, Stampin' Dimensionals
