Are you someone who uses a planner? Or are you like me and use an app for that? I was intrigued when I saw the Making Plans Collection on page 19 of the Sale-A-Bration catalogue. During the demonstrator preorder in June, one of my favourite reasons to be a demonstrator, I was able to add the planner to my order so that I could play with all the pieces to share ideas on how you can use it! In this blog post I'll share 3 ideas of what to do with the Making Plans Collection and how you can receive it for free.

The outside of the planner is gorgeous with the floral images, a strip of Calypso Coral on the binding and the cover is closer to Very Vanilla than white. It's kept closed with a magnetic clasp and inside there is a loop to hold your favourite pen. Inside it's very pink (I'm a big fan of purple!) but has a removable divider, a large pocket and smaller pockets for notes.
Also included with the planner is a thick stack of paper! Calendars are included up until Dec 2023, along with weekly priorities sheets, dividers, and some blank pages. The Making Plans stamp set is also included in this collection. Perfect to add words or bullets to your planner. Or use it on other projects. The first idea is to use it as a planner, either in monthly or weekly format. List items such as holidays, birthdays and appointments. This is also a great way to track any workshops or Stampin' Up! events you will host or attend. Keep your notes in it too.
A second way is to use the planner to create a scrapbook! The 6" x 8" photo pocket pages fit in the planner but need 4 extra holes added to work with the binder rings. The pages are wider than the pages included in the collection but the planner cover will still close nicely. I used the Today's the Day Memories & More card pack to fill in the pockets, but you could slip in some photos or even create your own pocket cards using designer series paper or cardstock. This memories & more card pack includes fun & inspirational quotes. A bonus idea is to use this as a inspiration journal album!
The third idea is a card sending reminder. Keep track of birthdays and anniversaries on the monthly calendars. Then use the 6" x 8" full size pocket page to keep envelopes & cards that you will send out that month. Once you make a birthday card, slip it into the large pocket page with a completed envelope and it's ready to send. Keep the pocket page tucked behind the month calendar for easy access.
