Welcome to August's Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This month our theme is Trees and Wood. We have many products in the 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue that fit with this theme. Did you know that you can search using a single word like "trees" in my online store and it will pop up 39 results! Check out the list here: https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/search/trees?dbwsdemoid=2157916

The Birch background stamp set is a great addition to so many stamp sets! I've paired it with the Waterfront stamp set. For the main image I stamped each image about 2 times. The stamped off image is great to add dimension.

The main image is die cut using the Stitched Nested dies. I used the largest die and to get the stitched frame around the white I used the stitched edge on the white and trimmed it down to allow for the Basic Gray edge!

Supplies
Stamps: Birch Background, Waterfront
Colours: Basic Gray, Smokey Slate, Pool Party, Pretty Peacock
Accessories: Pretty Peacock Scalloped Linen Ribbon, Stitched Nested dies, Well Written dies, Subtle embossing folder

Thank you for stopping by!

Blog Hop Roll Call

These pictures are from a Great Big Sea concert from December 2004. They released a new CD that year that included the song Shines Right Through Me and I decided to use the tune as inspiration. I used the lighthouse from the Sailing Home stamp set and the light beam, title & dirt from the High Tide stamp set.
Last month at the team meeting we were able to create this adorable truck! The die cuts out the truck with tabs that you fold but make sure to stamp the front grill, doors and windows on before assembly. I had a hard time deciding whether the truck needed front wheel wells or not. It still looks a little wonky to me but I'm not going to change it.

Supplies
Stamps: Ride With Me
Colours: Cajun Craze, Basic Black
Accessories: Truck Ride die, Watercolour Pencils, Tear & Tape

My Stampin' Up! order with some new products arrived last Wednesday! It was a wonderful surprise to come home to. For my Facebook live last Thursday I used the new Seaside Notions stamp set to create this card. The card base is Thick Whisper White cardstock - perfect for card bases - and a piece from the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper. The Seahorse and the shell were both coloured with Stampin' Blends. For both images I used a variety of colours to get the look I wanted. Tip for you when using multiple colours of Blends, after using them make sure to wipe the end on a scrap piece of paper to get rid of any unwanted colour transfer.

Supplies
Stamps: Seaside Notions
Colours: Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Night of Navy, Balmy Blue, Pool Party
Accessories: Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper, Tailored Tag Punch, Stampin' Blends, Stampin' Dimensionals

An awesome challenge and so many ways to make a project! I decided to create 2 cards using the same line - Wood, Yellow and Embellishment. The challenge was set for last month's team creative challenge by my awesome upline Lisa.

Can you choose between the lighter So Saffron or the brighter Daffodil Delight as your favourite? Me, I cannot decide, I like them both!

Did you watch me create these live? Every week on Thursday evenings at 7pm Eastern I host a Facebook Live where I create a project - scrapbook pages, pocket pages or cards. Join me on Facebook at: www.facebook.com/FromWhereIStamp

Supplies
Stamps: Winter Woods
Colours: So Saffron, Daffodil Delight, Soft Suede, Whisper White
Accessories: Versamark, Gold Embossing Powder, Gold Faceted Gems, Gold Pearls

Hello! Welcome to July's Scrapbook Global Blog Hop. Our theme this month is travel. I found these train trip pictures from March 2008 that were waiting to be scrapped and a perfect fit for this month's theme!
Happy Christmas in July! Last week was the Stampin' Up! Incentive trip to the Greek Isles. While I didn't earn the trip it was fun to watch other demonstrators from around the world share pictures of the 2019 Holiday Catalogue. It put me in the Christmas spirit and I knew that a Christmas card would be a perfect swap card for Sunday's team meeting!

My brother gave me the Dashing Deer stamp set for Christmas last year and I believe this is the first time I've used it! When first looking at the stamp set I thought the doe and buck were one stamp but they are not, but they are perfectly sized to work together. I used the Stamparatus to stamp all my images since I was making 3 cards. It allowed me to get the stamped images to show up in just the right spot on all of my swaps.

Supplies
Stamps: Dashing Deer, Buffalo Check background
Colours: Merry Merlot, Pretty Peacock, Very Vanilla, Gold
Accessories: Versamark, Gold Embossing Powder, Layering Oval dies, Stampin' Dimensionals, Stamparatus

Fireworks! Since last week was Canada Day I thought scraping these photos was a good idea to do on my Facebook live. If you haven't watched yet you will most likely hear me talk about not liking the page and how it wasn't turning out for me the way I thought! Now that a few days has passed I really do like this page! What do you think? - leave me a comment below if you'd like.
This is my second card I made using the Dino Days stamp set. I really wanted to use this dinosaur on my first card but the neck was soooo long the head was the only part that would've showed on the card! It looked silly for it to float there so I decided to create this card.

This Dinoroar Suite has designer series paper, stamp set, die set and enamel shapes! You can see the whole Dinoroar suite here: https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/products/201008/dinoroar?dbwsdemoid2157916

Supplies
Stamps: Dino Days
Colours:  Granny Apple Green, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Black
Accessories:  Subtle Embossing Folder, Stitched Rectangle dies, Stampin' Dimensionals

Hello and welcome to our July Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This month we are creating projects that feature the In Colours from either the 2018-2020 or 2019-2021 collections!

Stampin' Up! provided us demonstrators with colour combinations for the In Colours! I love that they do that for us. I decided to use one of the colour combos to create a card - Purple Posy, Pool Party and Smokey Slate.

Lilypad Lake is the perfect stamp set to use right now! Summer is here and this card makes me think of dusk along the water while camping. This card is a CASE from Cathy Casey that I found on Pinterest. The "waves" were stamped with Versamark onto the new Fluid 100 Watercolour paper then embossed in White. Then I used an Aquapainter and the 3 colours (Purple Posy, Pool Party, Smokey Slate) to create the water. A quick wipe of a tissue after it dried to take the colour off the embossed part and it was ready to assemble!

Supplies
Stamps: Lilypad Lake
Colours: Purple Posy, Pool Party, Smokey Slate
Accessories: Lakeside Dies, Fluid 100 Watercolour Paper, White Embossing Powder, Versamark, Rhinestones, Silver Thread, Stampin' Dimensionals, Aquapainter

At the June crop I borrowed a new stamp set called Dino Days. I wasn't sure if I would buy it and wanted to play around with it to create a few cards. I did some Pinterest searching for inspiration and found a few cards using rectangles of colour with stamped images. This is a great simple card. I stamped each dinosaur in the colour it is stamped on but you could get the same outcome by using Versamark.

You can see the whole Dinoroar suite here: https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/products/201008/dinoroar?dbwsdemoid2157916

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday at Crop Kingston's June Crop in support of Make A Wish, we raised just over $60. The first two projects were designed by me.
A quick card using pieces from the Come Sail Away Memories & More card pack and some embellishments. The lighthouse image is a 3" x 4" Memories & More card as is the pretty 4" x 6" compass card that was used on the card base. The brown trim behind the main card is from the cardstock stickers included in the card pack.

Supplies
Stamps: None
Colours: Whisper White, Sahara Sand, Night of Navy
Accessories: Come Sail Away Memories & More card pack, Assorted Memories & More cards and envelopes, Sail Away Trinkets, Night of Navy/Sahara Sand Baker's Twine, Stampin' Dimensionals

Welcome to June's Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop! Our theme this month is Birthdays and Parties.

I found these pictures of Hoover waiting to be scrapped and knew they would be perfect for today's blog hop. The background paper is a sheet from the Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper pack. The frame around the main photo was made using the largest die of the Rectangle Stitched dies, then trimmed around the outside to create the thickness I wanted. I discovered when creating this page that the only current stamp set I have with candles or birthday hats was the Celebrate with Cake stamp set from the Stamping for Beginners brochure but it is a perfect fit!

Supplies
Stamps:  Celebrate with Cake
Colours:  Seaside Spray, Sahara Sand, Early Espresso, Whisper White
Accessories:  Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper, Rectangle Stitched dies, Everyday Label Punch, Ribbon Punch Stampin' Dimensionals

Blog Hop List:
Currently I am working on filling gaps in my scrapbooks - right now working on 2005, 2007 and 2008. The pictures used in this layout were just popped into a page waiting to be made into a completed layout! The opposite page was a 12" x 12" layout that was completed in 2010, as shown below.
Welcome! Thank you to those that came to my Chocolate & Cards event last night at my home. We ate mini Mars bars and Peanut M&Ms while we crafted! Today's card is one we made last night.

I was inspired from a swap card I received at my upline's team meeting this past Sunday from Vicki. She used the Free as a Bird suite for her entire card. I was going to copy her exact card, had everything cut and ready to stamp and assemble. Then when I was going to glue the designer series paper onto the card base I noticed the gulls and decided to switch up the card and use the Sailing Home stamp set instead!

Supplies
Stamps: Sailing Home
Colours: Bermuda Bay, Pool Party, Basic Gray, Whisper White
Accessories: Smooth Sailing dies, Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper, Stitched Nested Dies, Stampin' Dimensionals

Hello! Today I am sharing a two page spread using pocket pages that I was working on during my Facebook live last week. Friday night I took some time to finish the left side page since I did not have time while live to do so.

Hello and welcome to the June Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop with a theme of Birthday Celebrations and an added challenge for us this month was to make something outside of our comfort zone! I decided to create a 12" x 12" scrapbook page - something I haven't done in a long time! For the monthly crops I help run, Lisa creates the 12" x 12" scrapbook pages while I create the pocket pages.

These pictures are of my birthday from June 2007. When I found these pictures stuck into an empty 12" x 12" pocket sleeve I knew they would be perfect for today's blog hop theme! Thankfully I had ordered the new Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper. The piece of designer paper I choose works great with the colour of the cake.

Supplies
Stamps: Perennial Birthday
Colours: Gorgeous Grape, Whisper White, Night of Navy, Wisteria Wonder
Accessories: Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper, Decorative Ribbon Border, Rhinestones, Subtle Embossing Folder, Well Written dies, Stampin' Dimensionals

This is my first time using the new Magnolia Lane Memories & More cards and I love them! These cards were made during my Facebook live last Thursday and were very simple to make! No stamping but I did do some fussy cutting on the card above. The pink flower image was hand cut from another card and I coloured it in using the Petal Pink Blends to give it a pop of colour so that it stood out from the rest of the card.

The flower and leaves on this card are from the adhesive images included in the Memories & More card pack. The label and the sentiment are from another sheet of adhesive images in the same pack.

Supplies
Stamps: none (images and words are included in the Memories & More card pack)
Colours: Petal Pink, Kraft
Accessories: Magnolia Lane Memories & More card pack, Magnolia Lane Memories & More Large Specialty Cards and Envelopes, Petal Pink Blends, Linen Thread, Pearls, Stampin' Dimensionals

May 2007 trip to Whiteshell Provincial Park is now scrapped! Last night I printed the map of the campground we stayed in with our tent onto Whisper White cardstock. I didn't take any pictures of our campsite! I'm a little furious with myself but I am thankful for the pictures I do have. I believe the right side of this layout was one we did at a crop but I moved a few things around when I found pictures of our trip to the campground.
