Hello and thank you to those that joined us last month for our October all-day crop in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities! Today I'm sharing with you our four make and takes. Make and takes are provided at each crop using product found in the grabs bags. This month each attendee received the Noble Peacock foil sheets.
Welcome to our October Global Stamping Friends blog hop where we are sharing Treat Holders - perfect ideas for Halloween treats, Thanksgiving favours or Christmas stocking stuffers!

I've created these mini curvy boxes using the Monster Bash designer series paper. It uses a 5.25" x 5.25" piece of designer series paper so you can make 4 boxes from one 12"x12" sheet.

The window on these boxes was cut out using the teardrop shape die that comes with the Mini Curvy Keepsake dies. Use a piece of Window Sheet to cover the hole from the inside before putting the box together. The Lace Trim was coloured using a Basic Black Dark Stampin' Blend and adhered with glue dots once the box was assembled. I wrote the boo greeting using the Basic Black blend.

Blog Hop Roll Call
3. Amanda Farlinger You Are Here

We would love for you to join us for our next all-day crop on Saturday October 19th in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities. Register before October 7th by clicking here

A lovely day spent crafting this past Saturday! I completed a few projects that were on my to-do list. And yes, I make a to-do list for crop day or I either forget what I was supposed to make or forget something at home!

Thank you to all that join us this past Saturday for our August crop in support of Kingston Animal Rescue.

I had so much fun creating this month's card and pocket page for the crop! There was some fussy cutting for the flowers from the designer series paper. The only stamping on my projects were the greetings/title.
Hello! For July's team 3D creative challenge I created these origami sailboats. Thankfully Google search helped me find directions. The larger sailboat was started with a 8.5" x 11" piece of designer series paper whereas the small sailboat started with a 5.5" x 8" piece of designer series paper. I recommend that you use a Bone folder to create crisp folds to make it easier to fold your sailboat.

The inspiration from these sailboats was from a few projects I found on Pinterest.

Thank you to everyone that joined us last month for Crop Kingston July's All Day Crop in support of Loving Spoonful here in Kingston. We used the Come Sail Away Memories & More card pack for our Make and Takes this month.

So glad we used this Memories & More card pack this month! I have a whole trip with my mom to PEI in 2013 that needs to be scraped and this pack is perfect for it! Watch for more layouts in the future featuring pictures from this trip and this card pack.
Last month at the team meeting we were able to create this adorable truck! The die cuts out the truck with tabs that you fold but make sure to stamp the front grill, doors and windows on before assembly. I had a hard time deciding whether the truck needed front wheel wells or not. It still looks a little wonky to me but I'm not going to change it.

Supplies
Stamps: Ride With Me
Colours: Cajun Craze, Basic Black
Accessories: Truck Ride die, Watercolour Pencils, Tear & Tape

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday at Crop Kingston's June Crop in support of Make A Wish, we raised just over $60. The first two projects were designed by me.
The day before Onstage I decided to create some 3D swaps to use as roommate gifts, new table friend gifts and swaps if there were any left over. For this swap my goal was to use the Best Catch bundle in the Occasion catalogue and gummy fish inside the pizza boxes. I started with an idea to use a circle of velum as a peek hole in the pizza box, embossed the vellum with the Seaside Embossing Folder and then coloured it blue. That idea failed, the velum wasn't see-though enough to see the gummy fish I was putting inside.

My second idea was to use a square of Window sheet, emboss it and then colour it blue using a Stampin' Blend. It turned out okay, but still not transparent enough because I coloured it blue! So my final design has a clear Window Sheet that is embossed with the Seaside Embossing Folder and left uncoloured. I used a Stampin' Spritzer with rubbing alcohol and 7 drops of Balmy Blue ink refill to spritz the outsides of the pizza boxes before assembling them.

The fish were coloured using a variety of Stampin' Blends. Mixing different colours, such as Cajun Craze and Crumb Cake together is a first for me but I love how it turned out! Did you notice that the die for the fish has cut outs for the fins? Looks awesome doesn't it?

Supplies
Stamps: Best Catch
Colours: Balmy Blue, Old Olive, Garden Green
Accessories: Window Sheets, Stampin' Spritzer, Catch of the Day dies, Pizza boxes, Mini Glue Dots, Stampin' Blends in various colours, Seaside Embossing Folder, Layering Circle dies

A festive pillow box that is perfect to hold a gift card or a small gift like chocolate! Having the cute kraft polka dot pillow boxes makes this a quick project to assemble.

I'm headed to OnStage in Orlando, Florida this November. I'm very excited to be able to go and that my husband will travel with me before to do some sightseeing before hand!! Stampin' Up! has asked for Display Stampers so this blog post is all about my application projects.

First up is my scrapbook page, this page uses items from the beautiful Lots of Happy Card Kit. The cards in the kit are awesome the elements in the kit can be used for lots of other projects! To the kit I added a piece of Whisper White 12"x12" cardstock, pieces of Sahara Sand and Lemon Lime Twist cardstock and the Whisper White panels to frame the pictures. The flowers were all coloured in using the watercolour pencils included in the kit - Flirty Flamingo and Lemon Lime twist.

The Under the Sea Framelits makes this project easy! The only freehand cutting I did was around the back seaweed. For the sand dollars I stamped the net onto Whisper White cardstock and then ran it through the Big Shot with the sand dollar framelits, then used my Aquapainter with a small amount of Crumb Cake ink to muddy the lines a bit.

My first Christmas card this year! It features 2 products from the upcoming Holiday Catalogue: Timeless Tidings stamp set and the Sprig Punch. The designer series paper is Under the Mistletoe from the Annual Catalogue. I think the gold really pops with Old Olive. I used the Stampin' Blends to colour in the mistletoe.

My second 3D item is a cute pillow box decorated with the Under the Mistletoe designer series paper and the Stitched Labels Framelits. The Kraft Pillow Boxes already have the polka dots on them and coordinate with so many of our designers series papers and colours.

This card was my first using my new Stampin' Blends - Highland Heather and Old Olive. It's relaxing to sit and colour in the images! It also shows off the new 3/16" Braided Linen Trim from the Holiday Catalogue.

A baby card using the Twinkle Twinkle suite. Instead of the stamp set that is part of this suite I decided to use the Special Celebrations stamp set. Do you notice the Twinkle adhesive-backed Sequins? The sticky stars and the punch are my favourites from this suite.

Thanks for checking out all my projects! If I'm selected I'll share my completed projects for Onstage after the event!

Thank you to everyone who registered for July's Crop Kingston All Day Crop in Support of Loving Spoonful!
I wasn't able to find the zoo pictures from our visit to the zoo in Winnipeg years ago but someday I will find them and put them into this layout!

Creating this project makes me think of the trips I've taken down east. My mom and I are headed to Nova Scotia at the end of this month. I'll put my favourite picture in this frame after our trip. T minus 10 days!

The Under the Sea Framlits makes this project easy!

Yesterday I participated in a demonstrator training day put on by my upline Lisa Henderson and another demonstrator Michelle Stenson. It was a lovely day to hang out with the others and learn new things and be creative with new products! The first project we worked on was this lovely bundle of 3" x 3" cards and a pizza box to hold them. I love all the little accents on each card!

Our second project was this little box to hold our cute little succulent! The main greeting was stamped and cut out with the Stitched Shape Frameltis. But the leaves were all cut out using the Tropical Thinlits and 2 pieces of paper from the Topical Escape designer series. It's great that the thinlits can do double duty and cut out images both stamped and from the designer series paper!

Supplies
Stamps: Tropical Chic, Detailed With Love
Colours: Blushing Bride, Granny Apple Green, Shaded Sprice, Whisper White
Accessories: Tropical Thinlits, Tropical Escape 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, Tropical Elements (wood flower), Nature's Twine - Crumb Cake, Stampin' Dimensionals, Gift Box Punch board, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Tailored Tag Punch

Thank you for those that crafted this past Saturday at our all day crop in support of Relay For Life! I was able to work with May's Paper Pumpkin kit - Manly Moments and put labels on my new ink pads. It looked like a lot of others were busy creating all day as well!
A few weeks ago at my upline's monthly demonstrator meeting Lisa had a great make and take during the meeting! She was wonderful to provide each of us with a great wooden frame. We covered it with our choice of the Share What You Love 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Pape. After I stamped the sentiment I coloured the heart in Cherry Cobbler to make it pop! At home I added some Fine Tip Glue to make the heart stand out more.

Supplies
Stamps: Statement of My Heart Photopolymer Single Stamp
Colours: Tranquil Tide, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Share What You Love 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Pape, Fine-Tip Glue, wooden frame

Thank you all who participated in our April Crop in support of Partner's in Mission Food Bank, we raised $95.00. Next month we are supporting Relay For Life - details can be found here.

In this month's grab bag was the Bundle With Love Memories & More card pack. For the two projects I designed for our make and takes there is no stamping! The cards and stickers included in the card pack make this projects easy and quick! The blue elephant image on the bottom right pocket is punched from one of the 3x4 cards. This card pack has blue on one side and pink on the other! So the above pocket page can easily be created for a girl instead!
