It was hard to choose one bundle to share with you today! The Timeless Tulip bundle isn't my favourite but with all the snow falling I felt that my project needed to be spring like. We've received 10+ centimeters of snow since yesterday. The large flower and the leaf are punched and the small flower was hand cut. Along the left hand side is a piece of Lily Impressions designer series paper that you can earn for free during Sale-A-Bration when you place a $60 order before shipping and taxes.

A single picture is hard for me to scrapbook sometimes! I enjoy creating pages with multiple photos. But this one photo of Hoover staring at me while I was sitting at my desk is a favourite of mine. It's one of 6 photos in a frame we have hung up to remember him.

The Peaceful Poppies designer series paper is gorgeous and I had fun creating these cards! I used the Painted Poppies stamp set and the Painted Labels dies from the same suite along with the Stitched So Sweetly dies.

Hello and welcome to January's Ink & Share Scrapbook blog hop! This month we are sharing scrapbook pages created using any product from the Stampin' Up! catalogues!


My layout today is a really quick and easy one! These pictures are from a road trip we did in June 2008. I cannot remember why we went for a drive but love the pictures I took. This layout uses the Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series paper with Terracotta Tile, Balmy Blue and Pear Pizazz. The DSP has simple patterns and gold accents. During Sale-A-Bration you can earn this paper for free when you place a $60 order.

A few weeks ago Stampin' Up! Canada asked for cards to be sent to them for Valentine's for Veterans. They are due to them by this Fri Jan 24. These cards were great ways to use some of the From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper and some sentiments that aren't really Valentine's but are perfect to share with someone I don't know!

If you need inspiration for your project pick up a catalogue - the Annual, the Mini or even the Sale-A-Bration - and look at the projects! Project designs and colour combinations abound. My card is a case of the Peaceful Poppies bundle that can be found on page 4 of the Mini Catalogue. I omitted the panel behind the flowers and changed the orientation of the card. The catalogue sample's flowers were watercoloured but I used a clear block to pick up colour from the ink pad and then press over the flower. Two of the flowers were done the same way but the ink stamped off onto a scrap of paper before stamping the block with colour to the smaller flowers.

Welcome to January's The Joy of Sets Blog Hop - Something New! January is always an exciting time: it's a new year, Stampin' Up! releases new products and Sale-A-Bration starts! Today we are using new items to create our projects. I've used the Lovely Lily Pad stamp set that you can earn FREE during Sale-A-Bration with a minimum $60 order.

The Lovely Lily Pad stamp set is a Reversibles set - meaning that you can use the back side of the line image to stamp another image! We didn't use the back side of any of the stamps for this card but you could change up the design and fill in the lily pad or the flower to change up the card.

At card class on Wednesday one of the the ladies embossed the Cajun Craze square as well for a different look. I love to see people change up my design to make it their own and be creative!
This card uses colours I usually do not think of first! When I saw my Year of Colour for 2019 I noticed a lot of browns and blues. My challenge for myself for 2020 is to use more colour!

My niece requested a monkey card for her birthday this year after I made a penguin card for her brother! I used a bunch of circle punches and a few of the Layering Oval dies to create the monkey! The monkey is layered with die cut leaves from the Tropical Chic stamp set. The background was stamped with Granny Apple Green, Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive (stamped off first though). Then I used Granny Apple Green ink and a Sponge Brayer to darken the bottom portion of the stamped piece. I hand drew the nose and mouth on using Black Journaling Pens.
