The Lovely Lily Pad stamp set is a Reversibles set - meaning that you can use the back side of the line image to stamp another image! We didn't use the back side of any of the stamps for this card but you could change up the design and fill in the lily pad or the flower to change up the card.
At card class on Wednesday one of the the ladies embossed the Cajun Craze square as well for a different look. I love to see people change up my design to make it their own and be creative!
This card uses colours I usually do not think of first! When I saw my Year of Colour for 2019 I noticed a lot of browns and blues. My challenge for myself for 2020 is to use more colour!

Love it when I can see a simple stamping project but all dressed up with these fun layers. It's great!
ReplyDeleteThis is perfect! Love the cheery colors you chose!
ReplyDeleteAmanda, this is soooo pretty! I absolutely love the color combo, too. The embossing is the perfect touch.
ReplyDeleteI just received this and am excited to play with it. I usually get yellow and orange flowers for the front of my house so I love the colors you've used. Thanks for the inspiration, this is a simple card but upgraded and I may have to case it(is that ok?) for my retirement home group that I meet with each month.
ReplyDeletelove the simplicity and the layout of this card.
ReplyDeletePretty card x
ReplyDeleteLovely card using such a lovely set :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the soft muted colours on this card - thanks for being part of our blog hop.
ReplyDeleteLove that you chose a color palette that you usually do not work with. The embossed "water" layer that you added behind the lily was the perfect touch for this awesome #simplestamping card. It's a pleasure to be hopping with you.
ReplyDeleteLove what you did here..and that layout..has my wheels turning!!
ReplyDeletelove the layout of your card!! thanks for sharing!!! :)
