Welcome to our Anniversary Blog Hop to celebrate 2 years! I haven't participated for all the blog hops but it's fantastic that this group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators have done them for this long! And what better way to celebrate than creating an anniversary card. This card could also be used for so many other celebrations as well - baby, job promotion, moving into a new home, etc.

With my Holiday Catalogue preorder I decided it was time to order some Stampin' Blends and this card was perfect to try them out. I still have to practice but I really like how the leaves turned out! I also used them to colour the pearls using the Dark Highland Heather Blend. The ribbon is new from the Holiday Catalogue, it's the 3/16" Braided Linen Trim and it is awesome! I puffed out the loops of the bow to give it more dimension.

Supplies
Stamps: Petal Palette
Colours: Highland Heather, Gray Granite, Whisper White
Accessories: Petals & More Thinlits, Pearls, Blends: Highland Heather and Old Olive, Petal Pair Textured Embossing Folders, Stampin' Dimensionals

August Swap Card

August 15, 2018 in ,
Created this card for my upline's monthly demonstrator meeting. I found this card on Facebook and forgot to write down the lady's name that I case'd this from. Thank you to whomever you are! I really miss Soft Sky that was retired in May but Balmy Blue works very well with Pool Party. They are both in the Subtles collection so they work together very well!

Supplies
Stamps: Tropical Chic
Colours:  Pool Party, Balmy Blue, Silver, Whisper White
Accessories:  Subtle Embossing Folder, Tropical Thinlits, Metallics Sequin assortment, Stampin' Dimensionals, Pearls

Welcome all to the Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop - Drinks Galore! So glad you are taking some time to visit our blogs and seeing all our wonderful projects. I had to think and do a lot of Pinterest searching for ideas for today's theme! Although I knew that I wanted to use the Coffee Cup Framelits.

My original plan was to make a card but none of my ideas worked. So I dug through my other items to see what I could make for a 3D project! Decided to use the very versatile 3" x 6" gusseted cellophane bag and a coffee pod. Although my husband was concerned that I took his last coffee pod to make this project! I'll make sure to buy him more for this weekend. :)

Supplies
Stamps: Tropical Chic
Colours: Whisper White
Accessories: Coffee Cup Framelits, Wood Textures Designer Series Paper, gusseted cellophane bag, Rhinestone, Everyday Label punch, Stampin' Dimensional, Tear & Tape Adhesive

Thank you for stopping by!

Blog Roll:

At the crop this past Saturday I challenged myself to create 2 cards using only a few products: Delightfully Detailed Memories & More card pack, a card base from the two Memories & More cards and envelope packs, Stampin' Dimensionals, Faceted Dots and Silver & White Baker's Twine. I shared the above photo on Social Media on Sat. Below are the 2 cards I made:

It's great the Stampin' Up! has these card and envelopes that work so well with the 4"x6" and 3"x4" cards from the Memories & More card packs! No additional cutting to make the cards work! On the purple card I started with the Mint Macaroon water washed card and added the intricate Blackberry Bliss laser cut design overtop.

Each pack of Memories & More includes sticker sheets. For both cards today the greetings are from the sticker sheets! Make assembly nice and quick! I did cut down one of the 3"x4" cards so I could have the lace design show on the right.

Supplies
Stamps: None!
Colours: Mint Macaroon, Blackberry Bliss, Calypso Coral
Accessories: Delightfully Detailed Memories & More card pack, Memories & More cards and envelope packs, Stampin' Dimensionals, Silver & White Baker's Twine, Tailored Tag Punch, Faceted Dots

Blackberry Bliss is a wonderful deep purple! And I love that Stampin' Up! used it for the pretty Delightfully Detailed Suite! Especially paired with Mint Macaron the note cards are perfect starting point for card making. This card was a make and take at Onstage in April.

Woodgrain Waterfront

June 30, 2018 in ,

At the crop we made projects using the Delightfully Detailed Memories & More card pack and, gasp, no stamping! The first project is our pocket page. Punched and cut up some of the 3x4 cards to create this page.
Have you tried Stampin' Up!'s Blends? I'm starting to fall in love with them. I might just have to order some. To be honest I never thought I would like them! But at the crop this past Saturday I borrowed Lisa's Blends to colour in the images for this card and wow, definitely changed my mind! If you haven't tried them yet let me know. They are on my next order so watch for more projects soon featuring them! On a side note, I also borrowed a friend's Stamparatus to line up the Thinking of you sentiment and it was perfect!. Another item I mistakenly thought I didn't need. That's on my next order too...

Supplies
Stamps: Lily Pad Lake
Colours: Balmy Blue, Old Olive, Whisper White
Accessories: Lakeside Framelits, Stampin' Blends: Rich Razzelberry, Old Olive and Smokey Slate

Creating this project makes me think of the trips I've taken down east. My mom and I are headed to Nova Scotia at the end of this month. I'll put my favourite picture in this frame after our trip. T minus 10 days!

The Under the Sea Framlits makes this project easy! The only freehand cutting I did was around the back seaweed. For the sand dollars I stamped the net onto Whisper White cardstock and then ran it through the Big Shot with the sand dollar framelits, then used my Aquapainter with a small amount of Crumb Cake ink to muddy the lines a bit.

Supplies
Stamps: Sea of Textures
Colours: Bermuda Bay, Granite Gray, Crumb Cake
Accessories: Tranquil Textures Sprinkles, Linen Thread, Stampin' Dimensionals, Layering Circle Thinlits, Under The Sea Framelits, Seaside Embossing Folder

Wow, what a card eh? This wonderful creation was made by my husband for my birthday last week! He did a wonderful job.

Colours: Fresh Fig, Berry Burst, Whisper White
Accessories: Circle Punches, Rhinestones, Stampin' Dimensionals, Decorative Label Punch, Stripes Embossing Folder

Yesterday I participated in a demonstrator training day put on by my upline Lisa Henderson and another demonstrator Michelle Stenson. It was a lovely day to hang out with the others and learn new things and be creative with new products! The first project we worked on was this lovely bundle of 3" x 3" cards and a pizza box to hold them. I love all the little accents on each card!

Our second project was this little box to hold our cute little succulent! The main greeting was stamped and cut out with the Stitched Shape Frameltis. But the leaves were all cut out using the Tropical Thinlits and 2 pieces of paper from the Topical Escape designer series. It's great that the thinlits can do double duty and cut out images both stamped and from the designer series paper!

Supplies
Stamps: Tropical Chic, Detailed With Love
Colours: Blushing Bride, Granny Apple Green, Shaded Sprice, Whisper White
Accessories: Tropical Thinlits, Tropical Escape 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, Tropical Elements (wood flower), Nature's Twine - Crumb Cake, Stampin' Dimensionals, Gift Box Punch board, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Tailored Tag Punch

Octopus Shoebox Swap

June 06, 2018 in
This past weekend my upline hosted a Shoebox Swap - Case the Catalogue event at her home. It was fun to create cards and hang out!

It was really hard to choose a sample from the catalogue I wanted to make my own! I was finally able to decide on the Sea of Textures stamp set. The top image is from the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue on page 154 where my inspiration for this card came from - the white gable box on the bottom right corner.

Supplies
Stamps: Sea of Textures
Colours: Mint Macron, Powder Pink, Soft Sea Foam, Night of Navy
Accessories: Under the Sea Framelits, Stampin' Dimensionals

So many fun things happening today! The 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue starts today, information about Paper Pumpkin's coordinating suite in the new catalogue, it's FRIDAY and it's Blog Hop day!

The new Sea of Textures stamp set is awesome! There are so many projects I want to make using it! I made this card for a demonstrator swap last month. It was really quick to put together and make 5 of them since I was making them the day they were needed. But that's ok, I love how the card turned out! What about you? Do you find yourself making a card just before you need it?

Thank you for those that crafted this past Saturday at our all day crop in support of Relay For Life! I was able to work with May's Paper Pumpkin kit - Manly Moments and put labels on my new ink pads. It looked like a lot of others were busy creating all day as well!

Today at the crop I created projects using the Manly Moments Paper Pumpkin Kit. My first card followed the directions of the kit, aren't those mountains and trees great - pre-cut and sticky! Perfect card for Father's Day! And it was so simple to make!

A few weeks ago at my upline's monthly demonstrator meeting Lisa had a great make and take during the meeting! She was wonderful to provide each of us with a great wooden frame. We covered it with our choice of the Share What You Love 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Pape. After I stamped the sentiment I coloured the heart in Cherry Cobbler to make it pop! At home I added some Fine Tip Glue to make the heart stand out more.

Supplies
Stamps: Statement of My Heart Photopolymer Single Stamp
Colours: Tranquil Tide, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Share What You Love 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Pape, Fine-Tip Glue, wooden frame

I love April's Paper Pumpkin! The anchor and lighthouse! My coworker's birthday was the end of April and I made this card for her. Had to create a large enough card so that each person could write a greeting. Last year I created a regular 5.5" x 4.25" card with Whisper White flaps that opened, but this year I created a double card. Each card base was trimmed and then glued together to create the longer card - perfect for our birthday greetings!
Thank you all who participated in our April Crop in support of Partner's in Mission Food Bank, we raised $95.00. Next month we are supporting Relay For Life - details can be found here.

In this month's grab bag was the Bundle With Love Memories & More card pack. For the two projects I designed for our make and takes there is no stamping! The cards and stickers included in the card pack make this projects easy and quick! The blue elephant image on the bottom right pocket is punched from one of the 3x4 cards. This card pack has blue on one side and pink on the other! So the above pocket page can easily be created for a girl instead!

I shared this 12" x 12" scrapbook page during my Share What You Love Facebook Party the other night. This page idea was born from finding some strips of the Wood Textured Designer Series Paper on my crafting desk and they looked like wood strips you would lay for flooring!

Supplies
Stamps: Love What You Do
Colours: Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Early Espresso
Accessories: Wood Textures Designer Series Paper, Pearlized Doilies

~ Amanda

The first card showcasing products from the Share What You Love Suite early release is from Onstage in London, Ontario last month. It was one of the 4 make and takes they had prepared for us to make! New designer series paper, ribbon, doilies and pearls! It's a hard choice but I like the doilies and pearls the best!

I love that the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper is carrying over to the next catalogue! This paper is perfect for so many projects. For the main watercolour wash and flowers on the piece at the back are stamped off as the Grapefruit Grove ink was too bright at full strength.

Did you have a chance to check out my Facebook party over on From Where I Stamp tonight? If you missed the fun make sure you head over there and like my page. I'll be hosting another Facebook event when the new 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue goes live on June 1!

And finally check out this video Stampin' Up! made that shows what is in each bundle. And if you would like to look at the products head over to my online store to view all the new products available now!
