Welcome to our October Global Stamping Friends blog hop where we are sharing Treat Holders - perfect ideas for Halloween treats, Thanksgiving favours or Christmas stocking stuffers!

I've created these mini curvy boxes using the Monster Bash designer series paper. It uses a 5.25" x 5.25" piece of designer series paper so you can make 4 boxes from one 12"x12" sheet.

The window on these boxes was cut out using the teardrop shape die that comes with the Mini Curvy Keepsake dies. Use a piece of Window Sheet to cover the hole from the inside before putting the box together. The Lace Trim was coloured using a Basic Black Dark Stampin' Blend and adhered with glue dots once the box was assembled. I wrote the boo greeting using the Basic Black blend.

The Brightly Gleaming Specialty designer series paper is beautiful with the Copper foil accents. This card has very little stamping and takes advantage of the beautiful designer series paper and the Gleaming Ornaments punch pack. The Stitched Rectangle dies were used to cut out the Whisper White main panel - the stitching gives this panel a little pop.

A lovely day spent crafting this past Saturday! I completed a few projects that were on my to-do list. And yes, I make a to-do list for crop day or I either forget what I was supposed to make or forget something at home!

Today's card is one I made on Thursday evening during my Facebook live. I saw the idea of using one of the splatters from the Artisan Textures stamp set from a card created by Rochelle Laird-Smith. Although I couldn't remember which splatter it was! I had 3 different splatters on blocks by the time I finally realized that it was the largest splatter that would get the effect I wanted. The splatters are stamped off onto my grid paper before stamping over the birds. This way it lightens up the ink to allow the bird image to pop. The next step was to cut out the image using the Nested Label dies and then to assemble the card. To embellish the card a bit I added 3 pearls and some Clear Wink of Stella to the birdies. The sparkle doesn't show well in the picture above but its there!

Watch the Facebook Live below and join me on Thu Oct 3rd at 7pm EDT for my next one:

Swap cards are fun to make! The hardest part is choosing which product from the Holiday Catalogue I was going to use. Decided that for this swap I would do a fall theme as my other swap card was Christmas.  Did you n now the label on each pack of designer series paper lists the colours? I chose Pretty Peacock, Crushed Curry and Early Espresso from the colours listed.
