I was asked to make an anniversary card to celebrate 50 years! The final card size was 5" x 7" so that more signatures could be placed inside. And a big celebration means a bigger card too! Even made an envelope from the Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack using the Envelope Punch Board. My mom thinks it's one of my best cards, thanks Mom!

Berry Burst Dragonflies

Do you check Pinterest for ideas? I found a few cards on Pinterest to use as my inspiration for today's card. Would you like to follow me on Pinterest? Click here to visit my Pinterest boards.

Copper and Berry Burst work so well together on this card. The little bit of Basic Black highlights the main panel of dragonflies.

Catchy post title, eh? Did I get you to laugh? Today's page is all about Hoover and his stick fetching he loved doing in water. Only time he would swim! I love pages with lots of photos. On one hand it saves cards from the pack for other layouts and on the other hand it makes for a nice simple page. Simple pages are great when you have many photos to scrap.

A lovely relaxing card with a fruity drink (which by the way is the only stamped image on this card!). The 3x4 card was pre-printed and ready for embellishment. For the background I used a piece of Color Theory Designer Series Paper. No sentiment on this card since it would fit so many different themes!

Supplies
Stamps: Colorful Season
Colours: Crushed Curry, Soft Suede, Berry Burst
Accessories: Color Theory DeaignerSilver Sequin Trim, Crushed Curry ribbon

We had a fantastic time at this month's crop! And we raised $331 for Kingston Animal Rescue. Fantastic to see so many people come and craft for the day. I was able to work on scrapbooking pictures from 2008.

This month, in the grab bags, we included the Perfect Days Memories & More card pack. I'm so in love with this card pack! The 2 projects I designed (the card and the 3D item) have greetings from the card pack and no stamping! What?! For the card I used a 3"x4" card that had TODAY on it and added some stickers that are included with the Memories & More card pack. This was the perfect card for my husband's birthday earlier this month.

Tag toppers are so easy to create. Fill up a cellophane bag with some rockets, tie it close, then adhere the tag! The 3"x4" card is a perfect size to create a tag.

This month Lisa designed the scrapbook page and the pocket page! She did a great job with both pages and her little guy's pictures work great with this card pack. On the pocket page's 4"x6" card she coloured each has word separately to make it stand out - a great idea!

The Wood Textures Designer Series Paper is a great match for the February drab snow/dirt in these pictures. Added a piece of copper foil paper to trim the pictures and balance the snowflakes. For the snowflakes I used a piece of water colour paper and an Aquapainter with Crumb Cake and Soft Suede ink to create a wash on the paper. Once it was dried the snowflakes from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits were cut out multiple times and adhered with the Fine-tip Glue Pen.

This is was hard memory to scrap for me. Do you have any of those? This was in 2008 and I waited until now to deal with these pictures. Make sure your memories are preserved, even if it's the hard ones. 2008 was a hard year but it's time that I get those pictures in albums and get the stories told!
