Showing posts with label Thank you

Hello and welcome to Facebook Thursday! Every week I pick a product to create at least one project and show you how to create it during a Facebook Live. This week I'm sharing a sweet and quick card using items from the Ice Cream Corner suite in the new Jan-Jun Mini Catalogue that was released this past Tuesday.

In case you've never joined me for a Facebook live, I go live every week on Thursday at 7:30pm Eastern om my From Where I Stamp page:https://www.facebook.com/FromWhereIStamp. Everyone is welcome to join! If you are unable to join me live you'll find the recording below to watch:

Happy December 7th! Today is Kylie's Monthly International blog highlights where demonstrators from all over the world share their project using the theme of Thank You. You can vote for your top 5 favourites on Kylie's blog, I hope you enjoy my card and vote for me!
My upline Lisa gave us a colour challenge awhile back to use Rococo Rose, Rich Razzleberry and Petal Pink to create a project. While I'm not a fan of pink (Team Purple here!) I have been challenging myself to create with colours I wouldn't normally. First I stamped different sized snowflakes and my chosen sentiment from the Snowflake Wishes stamp set onto Whisper White cardstock. Originally the white stamped piece was going to be the top part of the card but then I remembered there was Champagne Foil sheets sitting in my drawer waiting to be used. The Champagne foil sheet is cut to 4" x 5.25", then run through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine first with a die from the Stitched Rectangles dies and then with the Winter Snow embossing folder. The whole Champagne piece is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals with the white stamped piece glued to the Gray Granite card base.
Tip: Take a piece of printer paper: cut in half so it will fit into the die cut machine (8.5" x 5.5"), then when putting your sandwich together place the printer paper over the foil/die sheet before placing the top plate on. This will protect the foil from imprinting from the top plate.
If you have a moment please vote for my card and check out all the other great projects! Click here to vote. The top 10 winners of this vote will participate in an International Blog Hop later this month.

Welcome to my blog! I'm excited to participate in Kylie's Monthly International blog highlights this month. You'll find the button a little further in my blog post that will take you to Kylie's blog where you can vote for your top 5 favourites.

The Snowflake Wishes stamp set has some wonderful sayings and I'm grateful that one of them is a thank you sentiment with a twist! The sentiment is stamped with Pretty Peacock ink onto a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock die cut with one of the smaller Stitched Nested Label dies.

What do you think of this Smoky Slate and Seaside Spray colour combo? It pops against the Plaid Tidings designer series paper. To create this card I've used the Stamparatus to help me position the 2 stamps. The Stamparatus is a great tool, allowing you to put the stamp where you want it to go. If I had tried to line up the blossoms with the stems they would have been off!

I've used the stamp set and colours from the Simply Citrus Kit to create my cards. This kit is so fun to use! I like the cards you can make with the kit but if you add some coordinating cardstock - Just Jade, Calypso Coral and Mango Melody to make the kit stretch even farther.
Have you spied the Simply Citrus kit in the Annual Catalogue? This kit includes everything you need to create 15 beautiful and bright cards. Below is a picture of everything included in the kit. A perfect kit for a beginner stamper as it includes a clear block, ink and stamp along with adhesives to assemble your cards.

I created these cards during my Facebook live recently. The video is below if you missed watching it. Join me this Thursday at 7pm for my next live!

This card uses a fun technique although I'm not sure what it's called. I'm calling it the Clear Block Smoosh! I stamped the flower image using Memento ink onto Whisper White cardstock first. Then inked up the Clear Block E using the Soft Sea Foam ink pad, spritzed it with some water and smooshed it onto the stamped Whisper White piece. I did use our regular Whisper White cardstock but I would suggest using either the Thick Whisper White cardstock or the Fluid 100 Watercolour paper instead. Using one of those 2 products should lessen the curling I had at the edges of my piece.

Hello and welcome to August's Colour Combo Blog Hop! I love the colours this month - Rich Razzleberry, Mint Macaron & Soft Suede.
These colours made me think of my favourite time of the year - autumn! I used the returning Gather Together bundle to create this card along with the Pine Wood planks embossing folder.
