Welcome to my blog! I'm excited to participate in Kylie's Monthly International blog highlights this month. You'll find the button a little further in my blog post that will take you to Kylie's blog where you can vote for your top 5 favourites.

The Snowflake Wishes stamp set has some wonderful sayings and I'm grateful that one of them is a thank you sentiment with a twist! The sentiment is stamped with Pretty Peacock ink onto a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock die cut with one of the smaller Stitched Nested Label dies.

The larger sparkly snowflakes are made using the Shimmery White Embossing Paste. It is fun to make a mess and play with a different medium but make sure to clean up the paste off any surfaces or palette knives right away.

How to create the background of this card: Using the So Many Snowflake dies cut a large snowflake from a piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock. Then use the negative image to apply the shimmer paste! When applying the shimmer paste the best tool is the large palette knife. To add more dimension to your snowflakes scrape a little of the paste off after applying to allow the colour of the card base to show through.Next allow your project to dry. It might take overnight or a few days. Once the paste is dry glue a piece of Feels Like Frost designer series paper to the left side. Stamp your sentiment and cut using the Stitched Nested Label dies then using Stampin' Diemensionals to adhere the sentiment piece to your card. Die cut a small snowflake from the Thick Whisper White cardstock and glue to the card. Finish off the snowflake with a small Rhinestone.

If you have a moment please vote for my card and check out all the other great projects! Click here to vote. The top 10 winners of this vote will participate in an International Blog Hop later this month.
