Thank you to those that joined us on November 23rd for Crop Kingston's all day crop. Each attendee received the Night Before Christmas 6"x6" designer series paper pack in their grab bags. Lisa and I provided make and takes using that pack of designer series paper that each person could create during the crop.
Global Stamping Friends - Foil and Glimmer
December 06, 2019
in 3D Items, Big Shot, Blog Hop, Designer Series Paper, die cutting, Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop, Punches
Welcome to our December Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop! Our theme this month if Foil and Glimmer - perfect for holiday celebrating! This month I'm sharing a 3D project that we created at a class during Crop Kingston's Fall Retreat in October.
We coloured a Baker's box using a Sponge Brayer, Mossy Meadow ink and Frost White Shimmer Paint. The ink and shimmer paint are mixed together with a small amount of water and then spread onto the Baker's box using the Sponge Brayer. You could also use a sponge or sponge dauber to paint the outside of the box.
Inside there are 4 Mini Curvy Keepsake boxes perfect to fill with chocolate, candy or small gifts!

Thank you for stopping by! Next you will head over to Tricia`s blog to continue the blog hop.

Poppy Cards
November 30, 2019
in Big Shot, card, Embossing Folder, Facebook Live
To create this card I used a few of the colours that are in the designer series paper. I stamped the poppies on watercolour paper then misted the ink to soften it.
This card was our make and take at Onstage earlier this month. You can see 2 of the different patterns that are included in the Peaceful Poppies designer series paper pack.
Both of these cards were created during my Facebook live. The video is below if you missed watching it. Join me next Thursday December 5th at 7pm for my next live.

Christmas Countdown Calendar
November 28, 2019
in 3D Items, Christmas, Facebook Live
I put this Christmas Countdown project kit together a few weeks ago live on Facebook. So love how it turned out and I look forward to filling it with Ferrero Rocher so that I can countdown to Christmas! During my Facebook live, which you can watch below, I used different stamps than the suggested Christmas Countdown stamp set - the Nature's Beauty and Merry Moose stamp sets. But did use the ink colours they suggested, Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso and Mossy Meadow. This kit can be assembled without a stamp set as well as there was quite a few die-cut pieces leftover.
The boxes are 2" cubes and can hold many different items. The boxes do come out of the cubby-hole easily so you could decorate the back of them for another countdown - Easter, birthday or other fun event! There is still time to order this project kit - it would arrive the first part of December to you but then you can enjoy the chocolate for multiple days all at once!
Make sure to join me on Thursday evenings at 7pm Eastern for my weekly Facebook Live: www.Facebook.com/FromWhereIStamp

Onstage Swaps
November 26, 2019
in card, Designer Series Paper, OnStage, Punches
My swap card for Onstage Local Toronto was a CASE from one we made at November's Cards & Chocolate class. If you caught my Instagram stories I shared pictures of Onstage and my adventures. If you missed it head over to Instagram and check out the Highlights from the event! I started assembly of my swaps on the train to Toronto on Friday morning but the train swayed too much for me to happy with how the sentiments went on so they were finished Friday night while hanging out with friends at our Airbnb!
Above is the card we made at November's Cards & Chocolate class. It uses Thick Whisper White card stock, Real Red Card stock and a piece of Let It Snow specialty designer series paper.
Both of these cards use the Nature's Beauty stamp set! $4 from every sale goes towards the Center for Addiction and Mental Health here in Canada.
