Octopus Shoebox Swap

June 06, 2018 in
This past weekend my upline hosted a Shoebox Swap - Case the Catalogue event at her home. It was fun to create cards and hang out!

It was really hard to choose a sample from the catalogue I wanted to make my own! I was finally able to decide on the Sea of Textures stamp set. The top image is from the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue on page 154 where my inspiration for this card came from - the white gable box on the bottom right corner.

Supplies
Stamps: Sea of Textures
Colours: Mint Macron, Powder Pink, Soft Sea Foam, Night of Navy
Accessories: Under the Sea Framelits, Stampin' Dimensionals

So many fun things happening today! The 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue starts today, information about Paper Pumpkin's coordinating suite in the new catalogue, it's FRIDAY and it's Blog Hop day!

The new Sea of Textures stamp set is awesome! There are so many projects I want to make using it! I made this card for a demonstrator swap last month. It was really quick to put together and make 5 of them since I was making them the day they were needed. But that's ok, I love how the card turned out! What about you? Do you find yourself making a card just before you need it?
Need one of the new catalogues and live in Canada? Make sure to contact me to provide your information so I can send you one!

Blog Roll Call
Thank you for those that crafted this past Saturday at our all day crop in support of Relay For Life! I was able to work with May's Paper Pumpkin kit - Manly Moments and put labels on my new ink pads. It looked like a lot of others were busy creating all day as well!

Today at the crop I created projects using the Manly Moments Paper Pumpkin Kit. My first card followed the directions of the kit, aren't those mountains and trees great - pre-cut and sticky! Perfect card for Father's Day! And it was so simple to make!

There is 1 week left to take advantage of the Share What You Love Bundles! You can purchase these bundles until May 31 but then when the new 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue is live on June 1 you can order these items individually.

This card was our Make & Take at my upline's monthly demonstrator meeting! A Z-fold card showcasing the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper. When I was assembling the card it was a tough decision on which side of the paper to glue down to the card! I love that the flowers have a silver sheen to them, it really makes the card pop!

A few weeks ago at my upline's monthly demonstrator meeting Lisa had a great make and take during the meeting! She was wonderful to provide each of us with a great wooden frame. We covered it with our choice of the Share What You Love 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Pape. After I stamped the sentiment I coloured the heart in Cherry Cobbler to make it pop! At home I added some Fine Tip Glue to make the heart stand out more.
