The Wood Textures Designer Series Paper is a great match for the February drab snow/dirt in these pictures. Added a piece of copper foil paper to trim the pictures and balance the snowflakes. For the snowflakes I used a piece of water colour paper and an Aquapainter with Crumb Cake and Soft Suede ink to create a wash on the paper. Once it was dried the snowflakes from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits were cut out multiple times and adhered with the Fine-tip Glue Pen.

This is was hard memory to scrap for me. Do you have any of those? This was in 2008 and I waited until now to deal with these pictures. Make sure your memories are preserved, even if it's the hard ones. 2008 was a hard year but it's time that I get those pictures in albums and get the stories told!

Tonight I'm hosting a Facebook Memories & More Party on my page - check it out here: https://www.facebook.com/FromWhereIStamp/

On this layout I've dressed up a few of the cards to show what you can do with the Color Theory Suite! For the main 4x6 card I took one of the cards that says "Things I love this Autumn" and covered the words with a piece of Color Theory Designer Series Paper and the circle with the new saying/title to change it to a summer card. I liked the lines on the card but of course autumn wouldn't work with these very summer photos!

One of the 3x4 pockets was left alone but for the summer memories pocket I made a mistake cutting up a 4x6 card and to save the sentiment it was trimmed down, edged with Soft Suede card stock and mounted on a Crushed Curry 3x4 card from the pack.

Supplies
Stamps: Colorful Season
Colours: Soft Suede, Crushed Curry, Basic Black
Accessories: Color Theory Designer Series Paper Stack, Seasonal Layers Thinlits, Layering Circles Thinlits, Stampin' Dimensionals

Here is one of the 3 pocket pages we made at Thursday's Christmas in July class. I love the Perfect Days Memories and More card pack so I featured it dressed up with the Pretty Pines Thinlits to show the diversity of how this card pack can be used. This page would be great for Christmas photos but also for photos with wintery theme as I've done.

Supplies
Stamps: none
Colours: Emerald Envy, Lemon Lime Twist, Basic Black, Silver Foil Paper and Silver Glimmer Paper
Accessories: Pretty Pines Thinlits

I love the Emerald Envy colour! It matches so well with many of Stampin' Up!'s colours. It is a current In Color and will retire in May 2018!! I shared these cards at my Facebook party last Thursday evening. If you missed it but would love to see more inspiration please join me on Thursday August 10th from 8pm to 9:30pm on my Facebook page for my next Memories & More online party.

Both of these cards feature a 3"x4" card from the Perfect Days Memories & More card pack. I used the One Big Meaning stamp set to turn them into Thank you cards!

Supplies
Stamps: One Big Meaning
Colours: Emerald Envy, Basic Black, Soft Sky, Lemon Lime Twist, Silver Glimmer Paper
Accessories: Perfect Days Memories & More card pack, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Basic Black Bakers twine, Seaside and Hexagon Textured Impressions Folders

Currently my fav Memories & More card pack - Emerald Envy and Lemon Lime Twist match so well with Soft Sky and Basic Black!!

On the left side page I use one 3"x4" card from the Perfect Days card pack to create the arrow bottom border. The card was cut into 3 and then I used the Tear Tape Adhesive to adhere it to a strip of Whisper White card stock so that I had a strip. I did have to trim the edge since I lined up the arrows. Here is a close up picture of the arrow trim:

The right side page is a pocket page. The heart and "us" was punched from one of the cards in the card pack.

On Thu August 10th I will be hosting a Memories and More Facebook party, please join me on From Where I Stamp's Facebook page at 8pm: https://www.facebook.com/FromWhereIStamp/

This past Saturday was our July Crop with Crop Kingston. This month we raised $275.28 for Loving Spoonful! We were set up in a different room at St. Lawrence College but it was nice to have a new view out the windows for a change.

Pocket Page design I designed using the cute This Little Piggy stamp set. The Wood Textures DSP Stack. The little fence is so quick and easy. Add some small dots for nails makes it look even better! For one of the 4"x3" pockets I hand cut out a mud puddle for the pig to be in!

I prefer the pig to be brownish grey instead of pink! On these cards the pig is coloured with Water Colour pencils in Basic Grey and Early Espresso before using the Blender Pen to watercolour the images. We will be making these 2 cards along with 6 others at my This Little Piggy class on July 22, click here for details.

Lisa designed the above 12"x12" scrapbook page above and the 3D pocket bellow. I like her flags on the scrapbook page and she used the Chalk marker to write onto the darker wood texture designer series paper.

Please join us on Saturday August 12th in support of Kingston Animal Rescue - sign up here by visiting Crop Kingston's Facebook page - we would love to see you there!
