Melon Mambo isn't a colour I would normally use for Christmas but it was one of the colours used in the Plaid Tidings designer series paper and it paired along with Misty Moonlight creates a gorgeous non-traditional Christmas colour combo. What colours do you like using on your cards?

Welcome! December's Colour Combo is Gray Granite, Real Red and Cinnamon Cider. A great combo for Christmas an many other projects.
Can you smell the cinnamon when you use Cinnamon Cider cardstock or ink? It makes me think of apple cider simmering on the stove with cinnamon sticks. Yum! Maybe I should heat some up today. Do you have a warm drink you like to drink during the cooler months? It would be neat to hear about your favourite that I could try.

Have you noticed the Gold Cards & Envelopes in the Aug-Dec Mini Catalogue? I love the gold design on the cards. A great base for Christmas cards! Keep in mind that these Gold Cards & Envelopes are retiring and only available while supplies last. Don't your love the saying on this card? The Christmas Means More stamp set is a great set with seasonal sentiments. In the card above its stamped with Memento black ink with the ivy coloured in with Stampin' Blends.

Hello and welcome to my blog and to the Curvy Celebrations blog hop!
My project is a 2 page spread for day 6 of my December Daily. This year I am using the 6"x "8 Basic Black album and the matching pocket pages. The main items used for other pages so far are from the Wonder of the Season suite. Since the colours in the Classic Christmas DSP has 2 colours that are in the Wonder of the Season suite they work well together!

Happy December 7th! Today is Kylie's Monthly International blog highlights where demonstrators from all over the world share their project using the theme of Thank You. You can vote for your top 5 favourites on Kylie's blog, I hope you enjoy my card and vote for me!
My upline Lisa gave us a colour challenge awhile back to use Rococo Rose, Rich Razzleberry and Petal Pink to create a project. While I'm not a fan of pink (Team Purple here!) I have been challenging myself to create with colours I wouldn't normally. First I stamped different sized snowflakes and my chosen sentiment from the Snowflake Wishes stamp set onto Whisper White cardstock. Originally the white stamped piece was going to be the top part of the card but then I remembered there was Champagne Foil sheets sitting in my drawer waiting to be used. The Champagne foil sheet is cut to 4" x 5.25", then run through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine first with a die from the Stitched Rectangles dies and then with the Winter Snow embossing folder. The whole Champagne piece is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals with the white stamped piece glued to the Gray Granite card base.
Tip: Take a piece of printer paper: cut in half so it will fit into the die cut machine (8.5" x 5.5"), then when putting your sandwich together place the printer paper over the foil/die sheet before placing the top plate on. This will protect the foil from imprinting from the top plate.
If you have a moment please vote for my card and check out all the other great projects! Click here to vote. The top 10 winners of this vote will participate in an International Blog Hop later this month.
