Scrapbook layout created as an additional inspiration project for our last Virtual Crop Kingston Crop using the Ornate Garden Suite. I was scrapbooking pictures from my Washington, DC trip when I was in Grade 9 (not going to figure out how long ago that was). Our next Virtual Crop will be on Saturday June 6th! Contact me to sign up.
Have you tried the Stamparatus yet? It makes stamping a breeze and you can do some neat techniques with it as well. The mountains on this card were stamped using the hinge technique (make sure to watch the video below to see how I did it!). You can also stamp twice in the exactly the same spot.

This card was created during my Facebook live recently. The video is below if you missed watching it. Join me next week at 7pm for my next live!

Hello and welcome to May's Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop! We are creating projects using the Stitched theme. My card today features the Rectangle Stitched dies.
Earlier this week I hosted an online workshop and used the retiring Come Sail Away Memories and More card pack to create some projects. While I had the supplies out I created this card. The Come Sail Away Memories & More card pack is perfect for creating a monochromatic card.

To create this card I cut out the sailboat image and the anchor image piece using the Rectangle Stitched dies. The sailboat card was layered onto a piece of Night of Navy card stock and popped up onto Dimensionals. Behind the sailboat is a 3"x4" lighthouse card that was cut into two pieces to extend the card to make it look like a longer piece. The sailboat card covers the gap. The Balmy Blue strip of card stock measures 3.875"x4.25" and the bottom was trimmed with one of the larger Rectangle Stitched dies. The card base is a 4.25"x8.5" piece of Seaside Spray card stock. One of the Sail Away Trinkets and a sentiment stick from the Memories & More card pack finishes off the card.

The Peaceful Poppies Elements are retiring at the beginning of June. They are pre-cut elements that you can colour or leave as they are! There are multiple sheets in the pack. Some black embossed pieces such as the scalloped piece I used as a trim in my card, poppies & leaves embossed onto Vellum and also onto water colour paper. For this card I used an Aqua Painter with Rich Razzleberry and Poppy Parade inks to water colour wash one of the pieces. Then after it was dried I placed one of the vellum poppies on top. To finish off the flower I added a pearl to the center. If you would like to order the Peaceful Poppies Elements I recommend ordering them soon as they might sell out fast.

The Dashing Deer stamp set and matching dies were perfect for pictures of our little excursion to find some deer in a field nearby my parent's home. And the Best Dressed designer series paper is very versatile for many projects. It was the perfect match for the deer images and pictures of our excursion.
