Plaid Moose

November 09, 2019 in , ,
We created this card at last month's Cards & Chocolate event. I cased this card from one I saw on Pinterest but the photo I saved doesn't have anyone's name on it - thank you to the one who gave me inspiration! The Buffalo Check is a perfect pairing to the Merry Moose bundle. The moose might be my most used stamp set right now!

These penguins in the Playful Penguins stamp set are adorable! Made this card for a special little guy celebrating a birthday a few months ago. Don't you love his little bow tie?

Moose with the Balloons

November 05, 2019 in ,

The above photo is a mood board challenge that Scrapbook and Cards Today magazine had near the end of September. Last week they shared the winners with some of the submissions for the challenge and my card, although not the winning one, was posted! It put a big smile on my face to see my card and scrapbook page shared on their page!!

There are so many elements on this card! The balloons and the stars stood out the most from the mood board. And since the moose is my new favourite stamp and punch it just had to be used on this card!

Hello and thank you to those that joined us last month for our October all-day crop in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities! Today I'm sharing with you our four make and takes. Make and takes are provided at each crop using product found in the grabs bags. This month each attendee received the Noble Peacock foil sheets.
Hello and welcome to our November Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop using Plaid as our inspiration! There are so many options for plaid in both the Holiday and the Annual catalogues.

For my pocket page I created my own plaid using the Buffalo Check background stamp and a Stampin' Write Marker. Stamp the Buffalo Check first and then use a ruler to finish off the look of the plaid. I started with a piece of Whisper White card stock 5" x 4" and cut it up for both pockets so that the design would be the same.

The pockets were finished off with a bit of silver foil and Crumb Cake card stock die cut using the Frosted Frames die set.
