Hello and welcome to January's Technique Tuesday blog hop! Today we are sharing projects featuring the watercolouring technique.

I love the look of strawberries but did you know I'm allergic? It's sad but true! In the new Jan-Jun Mini Catalogue, just released today, there is the new Sweet Strawberry bundle. This bundle includes the Sweet Strawberry photopolymer stamp set and the Strawberry builder punch. The leaves were cut out using that punch. Sale-A-Bration also starts today and there is a matching stamp & designer series paper bundle called the Berry Blessings bundle. The designer series paper on this card comes from that bundle.
To create the background start with a piece of Fluid 100 Watercolour paper. Squeeze a few drops of Real Red ink onto a clear block, then using the Water Painters squeeze a few drops of water on top of the ink. Add extra water for a more subtle look and less water for a darker blob. Gather the ink & water mixture up using the medium sized water painter and make the blob at the bottom half of the watercolour paper about the size needed for 2 berries. For the top greens use a mixture of Garden Green and Granny Apple Green ink refills and water. Make sure to put the lighter colour down first, then carefully added the darker colour but try to not use a lot of water. In the above picture I used the stamp set to help me see where the leaves would end up so I could add the Garden Green accent to that part of the blob. Make sure to let your watercolour paper dry completely before stamping.

Happy New Year to you and welcome to today's Sale-A-Bration blog hop. Sale-A-Bration begins on Tue Jan 5th! If you aren't sure what Sale-A-Bration is let me fill you in on the details: for every $60 or $120 Canadian before shipping and taxes you earn a free Sale-A-Bration product! Your order can be items from the Annual or Jan-Jun Mini Catalogues (psst the Jan-Jun Mini catalogue starts the same day - Jan 5th!). To create this card you would need to place a $120 order to receive 2 Sale-A-Bration items: the Approaching Perfection stamp set and the 6" x 6" Oh So Ombre designer series paper.
The first card is Bermuda Bay and the second is Granny Apple Green. Both were created using the same cardstock dimensions but in different orientation. You'll need a card base measuring 8.5" x 5.5", scored on the long side at 4.25". Cut your designer series paper to 4" x 5.25" - since the ombre design starts off dark on one side and goes very light on the other decide what part you will trim off to achieve the look. For both cards the lighter side was trimmed off. Next cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 2.5" wide x 2.75" height. Stamp the candles 3 times across the top of the cardstock then stamp them again 3 times along the bottom of the cardstock. The sentiment piece will cover the bottom candle's flames and will make your candles look longer! Since the candles aren't straight in the stamp image if your stamping is off on the bottom no one will notice.
Finish the card with a piece of either Bermuda Bay or Granny Apple Green measuring 3.75" x 1.5". Stamp your chosen greeting from the Approaching Perfection stamp set with Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Pop this strip onto the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
The final project! The Oh So Ombre designer series paper also has the bubble design in Blackberry Bliss and Rococo Rose. This designer series paper pack also includes a different design, a solid full colour that transitions to very light colour in each of the 4 colours.

Merry Christmas Eve friend! One more Christmas card to share with you before the big day. This card features the Christmas Means More stamp set and the 'Tis The Season designer series paper. Using a colour not listed on the designer series paper is a great way to make your image or sentiment pop! On this card I've used Rich Razzleberry. And do you see those Iridescent Pearls? They are green or purple or blue depending on the light! A great edition to this card.

Hello and welcome to Pretty Cards & Paper December Blog Hop! This month we are using the Peony Garden designer series paper for our projects.
Have you noticed the beautiful projects in our catalogues? I sometimes forget to go through the catalogue and look at just the samples rather than daydream which products I'm going to order next. Do you go back to look at the projects?

This card is a case of one found on page 33 (the middle card). Instead of creating a Christmas card I've switched it up by using the Tasteful Touches stamp set. The hello is part of a larger stamp. The best way to use a portion of a stamp is to use a Stampin' Write Marker, in this case a Basic Black marker, to colour the portion of the stamp you want to use, then stamp as you normally would onto the cardstock.

Melon Mambo isn't a colour I would normally use for Christmas but it was one of the colours used in the Plaid Tidings designer series paper and it paired along with Misty Moonlight creates a gorgeous non-traditional Christmas colour combo. What colours do you like using on your cards?

Welcome! December's Colour Combo is Gray Granite, Real Red and Cinnamon Cider. A great combo for Christmas an many other projects.
Can you smell the cinnamon when you use Cinnamon Cider cardstock or ink? It makes me think of apple cider simmering on the stove with cinnamon sticks. Yum! Maybe I should heat some up today. Do you have a warm drink you like to drink during the cooler months? It would be neat to hear about your favourite that I could try.

Have you noticed the Gold Cards & Envelopes in the Aug-Dec Mini Catalogue? I love the gold design on the cards. A great base for Christmas cards! Keep in mind that these Gold Cards & Envelopes are retiring and only available while supplies last. Don't your love the saying on this card? The Christmas Means More stamp set is a great set with seasonal sentiments. In the card above its stamped with Memento black ink with the ivy coloured in with Stampin' Blends.

Hello and welcome to my blog and to the Curvy Celebrations blog hop!
My project is a 2 page spread for day 6 of my December Daily. This year I am using the 6"x "8 Basic Black album and the matching pocket pages. The main items used for other pages so far are from the Wonder of the Season suite. Since the colours in the Classic Christmas DSP has 2 colours that are in the Wonder of the Season suite they work well together!
