So today's blog post is my application to be a Stampin' Up! display stamper! I love this shimmery butterfly, when the light hits it just right you can see the shimmer even though it may not show very well in the picture. To create the multi-coloured image I used the baby wipe technique.

This weekend I'm attending Creative Convention Online. It has been so much fun! Two Stampin' Up! Demonstrators: Maggie Patterson and Ronda Wade have put this on and there is so much I've learned already. I wanted to share the cards I made last night. These ladies pre-cut our make and takes, so then all I have to do is stamp and assemble! Bonus! I look forward to making some of these cards at my future events. And there is even more projects for me to share too!

Basic Grey, Daffodil Delight and Whisper White is very crisp and spring like. I'm looking forward to spring and seeing the daffodils and tulips outside my stamp room window! But today it's freezing rain warnings and staying warm inside!

The Tea Lace Doily is from the Spring Catalogue. I stamped directly onto the doily using Basic Grey. I think the best adhesive for the doilies is Glue Dots. I tired the Tombow Multi-purpose adhesive but it showed the hexagon shape through the doily so I won't use that again.

Isn't the Two by Two stamp cute? On Saturday I attended a baby shower for a friend and I made her this card. I used Black Stazon Ink so when I was colouring in the image with the markers the image wouldn't smudge. And the Cloudy Day Embossing Folder is the best background for this card!

Also gave her this cute Diaper Owl Cake. It was really easy to make and a very interesting way to give a friend some diapers, wash cloths, hooded towel and bib!

The RMHC stamp set Moving Forward is perfect for baby cards! I made this one for a stamping friend who had a baby before Christmas. I think the Silver Glimmer paper really helps the image pop on this one. I'm going to try using the Silver Glimmer Paper more since this year is Stampin' Up!'s 25th Anniversary!

If you have the clear Carry On stamp set then it is really easy to stamp the words all together properly. I used one clear block and put both the Keep Calm and the Eat A Cupcake on the same block lined up the way you'd like them to be. Stamp using Versamark and then heat emboss using Pewter Embossing Powder. The final step is to use the Window Framelit to cut out the image.

To make this card quick and easy you stamp the 3 images onto Whisper White card stock, punch out using the Big Shot and Hearts a Flutter Framelits dies, and then attach 2 Stampin' Dimensionals to each flag. Next place two Designer Printed Brads on the card and wrap Whisper White Baker's Twine around each brad to start the banner.
