With St. Patrick's Day coming up very soon I made this card using the Shamrock stamp from the Amazing life stamp set. It has a little bit of flare with the Gold Glimmer scalloped circle! I struggle to use the Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper. I started with a piece of Lemon Lime Twist sheet from the pack and added colours until I had something that would work for St. Patrick's day. Sometimes we just have to throw things together to see what it makes!

Last month my upline Lisa gave the team a creative challenge to use the Occasion catalogue to CASE one card and add our own twist to it. My card is from page 16 and I changed the Designer Series Paper to the Animal Expedition designer series paper and used a piece of Pool Party cardstock instead of ribbon. This little otter is very cute!

Supplies
Stamps: Hey Love, Amazing Life
Colours: Shaded Spruce, Pool Party, Whisper White
Accessories: Rectangle Stitched framelits, Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper, Metallic Pearls, Stampin' Dimensionals

My card today was very simple to make but really strikes an impact! I used the light Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blend to colour in the background of one of the sheets from the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper - this paper is beautiful! The black embellishments are from the Faceted Dots - one big dot on the greeting and three sprinkled around on the flowers. The designer series paper was then adhered onto a Thick Whisper White cardbase. I cased this card from Paula Dobson but changed it up to what I had on hand.

Supplies
Stamps: Incredible Like You
Colours: Granny Apple Green, Basic Black
Accessories: Light Granny Apple Green Blend, Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper, Faceted Dots, Stitched Shapes dies, Stampin' Dimensionals

Hello! Welcome to the Global Stamping Friend's March Blog Hop! This month our challenge was to create 2 to 3 projects, each one building on the last one. My projects feature products from the Delightfully Detailed Suite in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue and were perfect for creating these quick cards. (If you saw either my Instagram or Facebook post this morning you would have learned that I created these cards very early - at least for me - this morning before work!)

The first card used a card from the Delightfully Detailed note card pack and pieces from the Delightfully Detailed Memories & More card pack. I love that the Memories & More card packs include sticks and sentiments to make crafting nice and easy! I did cut down one of the 3"x4" cards with the black/multi-coloured design. The Calypso Coral flag, the little flower and the Congratulations are both stickers from the Memories & More card pack.

For my second card, I changed it up a little. Keeping the Blackberry Bliss and Basic Black theme, I added one of the laser cut Basic Black lace 3"x4" cards - cut diagonally in half so that I could split it between this card and the next stepped up card. The Congratulations is popped up on Stampin' Dimensionals and adhered to a trimmed 3"x4" card from the Delightfully Detailed Memories & More card pack. To complete this card I added a few Mint Macaron and Blackberry Bliss Faceted Dots.

And the final stepped up card! I cut the Delightfully Detailed note card's back off and trimmed it down a little bit on the sides. It is framed in Basic Black with some Silver Metallic Thread wrapped around before placed onto a Blackberry Bliss card base. For some extra texture I added a Pearlized Doily behind the Basic Black laser cut piece.

Supplies
Stamps: None
Colours: Blackberry Bliss, Basic Black, Mint Macaron, Calypso Coral
Accessories: Delightfully Detailed Note Cards, Delightfully Detailed Memories and More card pack, Faceted Dots, Pearlized Doilies, Silver Metallic Thread, Stampin' Dimensionals, Tailored Tag punch

Thank you for visiting today, it would be lovely if you left me a comment before moving onto Lisa's blog for the next project!

Watercolour Rooster

February 19, 2019 in ,
I love how this one turned out! Although those that sat near me at Crop Kingston's Winter retreat will remember how I detested the first watercoloured image I did! This second one turned out just the way I wanted it - and the trick was to use watercolour paper, not Whisper White cardstock. I stamped the rooster first with Memento ink and then added a light wash in each colour. After letting it dry for a few minutes I added a darker wash over certain parts of the image. To finish off the card I used the new Rectangle Stitched Framelits and then the Hexagons Embossing Folder to create the frame.

Supplies
Stamps: Home to Roost
Colours: Lovely Lipstick, Mango Melody, Shaded Spruce
Accessories: Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Stampin' Dimensionals, Aquapainter, Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies, Watercolor Paper
