So excited to share my samples I made for the Ottawa, ON Onstage event this past weekend! It was a lot of fun creating all these samples. After putting up my samples on the display board I was so nervous that everyone was going to see them!! There are 15 samples that I made. Enjoy!

Just have to say: I love Project Life and Stampin' Up! together. Project Life is a simpler way to scrapbook your memories in photo pockets with cards. I find it really simple to print my pictures, choose my filler cards (unless I have every pocket filled with a picture - and sometimes I really do have that many photos!) and embellish a little if needed. The above photo is a page from my 2014 album.

I love watercolours and the Happy Watercolour stamp caught my eye in the Occasions Catalogue. Pairing this stamp set up with gold made it pop even more! The flower image is embossed in black, then coloured in with aqua painters using Calypso Coral and So Saffron ink. Time to send this on to a friend for her birthday!

Just noticed as I posted this that I forgot to colour in the goose - I had meant to, but it turned out really well without colour! Have you ever made a mistake on a card and not noticed until it was too late?
Stamped the goose on watercolour paper (the better paper to make really pretty watercoloured images) with Black Stazon ink. Then added 2 strips of Champagne Glimmer paper to add a little sparkle. The Woodgrain texture and Linen Thread give the card a more earthy feel.

Isn't this guy cute?! For my Star Wars fan nephew's birthday a few months ago I decorated this little tin to hold his gift card present (which he loved and used to hold his Pokémon cards he received from others - so cool!). For a general idea of how to assemble Artoo I sought out Pinterest and saw a few cards.

Today is World Card Making Day and to celebrate Stampin' Up! is hosting a card making contest open to everyone!

There are two ways to enter.

• E-mail a photo of a card (or of you making a card) on World Card Making Day to wcmd2013@stampinup.com.
• Post a photo of a card (or of you making a card) on Instagram on World Card Making Day. Mention us by typing @stampinup and use the hashtag: #wcmd2013 in the description.

This contest is open to everyone—demonstrators, customers, friends, spouses, children . . . you get the idea! However, there are a few conditions:

• You must be over the age of 18 to win a prize.
• You must use Stampin’ Up! products to create your project.
• You may enter as many times as you wish, but each entry must feature a different card.
• The contest will last all day on October 5, from midnight to midnight.
• We will randomly select 100 winners from our English-speaking North American markets to receive a Paper Pumpkin kit.

A selection of pictures will be posted to our World Card Making Day Pinterest board and the winners will be announced in a current update.

These cards are so cool! Finally had a chance to play with the Circle Card Thinlits Die and it was so easy to create this card. On the other side of the circle I had lots of room to write a little note. To embellish the front of the circle I heat embossed the goose image from the Wetlands stamp set and coloured the image in with a blender pen and classic inks. The thinlit cuts and scores the card stock for you - next stop is to stamp and embellish! For this page I tried a whole bunch of ideas of how to get 7 photos onto one page. Having the pictures show up like a film roll turned out to look the best. I started with a square punch filled in Smokey Slate stretched to a rectangle and then added 3 photo boxes over top of it to create a border. Once I had the right size of photos put into the photo boxes, I then selected the 3 photos and the long rectangle punch and grouped them. Then rotated the group to create the photo swag one way and the next group the other way to create a criss-cross affect. Finally to highlight my favourite photo of our campsite I made the photo slightly larger then the rest and added a frame from the Downtown Grunge Designer Kit. Usually I like photos that sit level on a page but I'm finding that sometimes it makes the page more interesting! Definitely going to try this layout again!
