Hello! Welcome to September's Colour Combo Blog Hop. Autumn is my favourite time of year. Doesn't this month's colour combo of Blushing Bride, Cinnamon Cider and Mango Melody give off fall-ish vibes?
Thinking of fall had me looking over my stamp collection to see what one would be the best fit for these colours. After a few that might have worked (Enjoy the Moment and Tasteful Touches stamp sets), the Season's Blessings stamp set and Seasonal Basket dies ended up being the clear winner.

How do you decide what colours to use for your projects? Sometimes I will pull ink pads off the shelf and arrange them on my desk to see what colour combination inspires me. Or I'll check Stampin' Up!'s catalogues and see what I can find on Pinterest.

Welcome to September's Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop! Today we are showcasing the 12 bundles listed on page 19 of the Sale-A-Bration brochure. You can choose one of these bundles free when you purchase the starter kit before Sep 30, 2021. Make sure to scroll through to see the blog list for more ideas.

The Peaceful Cabin bundle can be found on page 38 of the Jul-Dec Mini Catalogue and is part of the Peaceful Place Suite. This suite's colour combinations is Smoky Slate, Basic Gray, Black & Silver. For my first order I overlooked the Peaceful Place Specialty designer series paper but spied some projects using this gorgeous paper on Instagram and knew it was joining my DSP collection! It has silver foil on some of the designs.

When I think of polar bears and the Arctic, I picture ice burgs and impressive skies. The Water Painters and the Fluid 100 Watercolour paper were used with Misty Moonlight and Pool Party ink refills to create the sky and water. Working with the Water Painters can be a little intimidating at first. Using them with the Fluid 100 Watercolour paper will help you because it can handle the water better than either Basic White cardstock or the Thick Basic White cardstock.
