To show off this Awesome Otter I went digging through my designer series paper looking for something that would inspire a card. I keep my DSP in big zipper bags in a drawer. Pretty sure I pulled out all the packs I have and didn't like any that I saw! Have you been that way? Went looking for something but then nothing works for what you imagined or wanted? No? Just me? Then I remembered the Stampin' Up! order that arrived last week with the Abstract Beauty 4" x 6" designer series paper.
To make the gold splatters pop I added a piece of gold foil from the Brushed Metallic cardstock and some gold Metallic Pearls. The water was coloured using the Night of Navy Stampin' Blends and the otter was coloured in with Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends. The little hat was added to make this card a birthday card but it could be left off and used as a thank you card.
This pack of designer series paper is a different size than we normally have. It is 4" x 6" in size, perfect for card fronts or to cut up for card elements. The designs are artsy swooshes, splotches and patterns in a variety of colours. It was hard to choose between the different designs. And the pop of gold on many of the sheets was shiny and fun! It's also a great size for pocket scrapbooking. The Abstract Beauty DSP is part of the Abstract Beauty Suite.
