I missed seeing the cute little dog curled up beside the book reading lady when I first saw the In The Moment stamp set! He's so cute. Going to call it a him since I have a chocolate brown boy Cocker Spaniel. This card makes me picture the two of us curled up on a cold winter's day. Although I might just have a blanket wrapped around Griffin too.
To create this card you will need a dark coloured cardstock, I've used Misty Moonlight for this card but you could sub in Night of Navy. I chose Misty Moonlight as it's one of the colours used in the Sunshine & Rainbows designer series paper. The large scalloped rectangle is die cut using the Stitched So Sweetly dies. You could stamp the image before or after die-cutting. Stamp the image using Versamark ink, then sprinkle some white embossing powder over the image and heat set using the Heat Tool. To colour in the image use the white and the Early Espresso watercolour pencils. I wouldn't use any water or Blender Pen to blend the watercolour pencils as it will darken the colours and they won't pop as much against the dark background.
