There can be a striking and bold impact when using only black and white. And it can be fun to create with limiting your colour choices. A great way to get started is to look for black and white designs in Stampin' Up!'s designer series papers. There are a few you could use, such as the True Love designer series paper from the Jan-Jun Mini Catalogue or use the Pattern Party designer series paper in the Annual Catalogue like I have for this card.
While creating today's card I tried to not include other colours but the Gorgeous Grape ink pad sitting on my desk had other plans. Originally my vision was to stamp a black butterfly, die cut it using the Stampin' Cut and Emboss machine then adhere it to the front of the card. Except the black butterfly didn't cooperate was lost amoungst the flower design! Then I spied that Gorgeous Grape ink pad. A quick dab of the stamp into that fateful ink pad, down onto Basic White cardstock, a zip in the machine and plop onto the card! And viola it worked! If you had to choose 1 colour to pair with black and white what would it be?
