Merry Suede!

December 09, 2011 in

Well this card turned out a little different than what I was going for and at first I did not like it but I think it's growing on me! The snowflakes on the background were stamped with Soft Suede with the little kids stamped in Early Espresso. To get the right angled cuts for the two strips I used the square punch on an angle.

Supplies
Stamps: Welcome Christmas, Serene Snowflakes, Christmas Greetings
Ink: Soft Suede, Old Olive, Early Espresso, Soft Suede
Paper: Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Whisper White, Real Red, Old Olive
Accessories: Dotted Ribbon Punch, Stampin' Dimensionals, Square Punch, 2-1/2" Circle Punch

Season's Greetings!

December 08, 2011 in
Yum, those candy canes look yummy! Are you liking the countdown so far? The images at the top of each post are from the 25 and Counting Stamp Brush Set with My Digital Studio.

Okay, I know today is the 8th, but I completely forgot to post this last night before bed! I'll be back later to post Count Down #8.

This card is nice and simple. For this card my challenge was to not use the Big Shot for anything! That was really hard since there are so many things you can do with the Big Shot! But I prevailed. I found the easiest way to add some pizzazz to this card was to put the greeting on Stampin' Dimensionals. And the little bit of ribbon to the wreath makes it pop!

Supplies
Stamps: Welcome Christmas
Ink: Garden Green, Riding hood Red (same colours for Stampin' Write Markers)
Paper: Wild Wasabi, Garden Green, Whisper White
Accessories: Riding hood Red Taffeta Ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals, Glue Dot

Snowflakes!

December 06, 2011 in ,
Still no snow around here, thank goodness! I hate driving in the snow so it can stay away on days I have to go places. But I do hope that there will be some snow for Christmas, because it wouldn't be Christmas without snow!
Both of these cards are made using the same products, except one has rhinestones and the other pearls to show the difference that little embellishment makes to any card!
Supplies
Stamps: Four the Holidays, Serene Snowflakes
Ink: Night of Navy, Baja Breeze
Paper: Night of Navy, Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake, Whisper White
Accessories: Crumb Cake Taffeta ribbon, Scallop Border Punch, Rhinestones and Pearls, Sticky Strip

For my last contribution to December`s Creative Crew I designed a page in My Digital Studio, of course using the same colour combination as the other projects! I used a layout idea from Christmas Jingle Designer template and changed up the colours and embellishments to suit my colour combo and the pictures.

Supplies using My Digital Studio
Colour: Poppy Parade, Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz, Garden Green
Designer Series Paper: Garden Green Villa, Sweet Details
Accessories: Scallop Edge Punch, Buttons, Stitching, Garden Green Brads
