Monochromatic Pink Card

Recently I was challenged to create a monochromatic card using Pinks. I almost didn't create the card! I am most definitely on #TeamPurple 💜! But I decided it would be a good way to look at all the pinks in the Stampin' Up! colour collection. You can find pinks in the Subtles, Brights and In Colours groups. Once I decided on the colours, originally I started with Flirty Flamingo, Melon Mambo and Blushing Bridge, I started pulling out small pieces of cardstock to see how they worked together. It happened that I had similar sized pieces of the 3 colours and how they fell onto my desk made sense. Trying to lay the 3 strips onto the card base all I could see were m's or w's so I added in a strip of Calypso Coral. If you wanted to create this card but add more dimension to it I would emboss one or multiple strips with an embossing folder or switch one strip of solid cardstock to a designer series paper.
