This scrapbook page was one of the make and takes from Hamilton Regionls I attended on August 18th. The scrapbook page was supposed to be made with the Clockworks stamp set but I wanted to used the French Foliage and En Francais stamp sets because of the picture I choose. The picture is of our cute little puppy and he was born in Quebec!

I love attending Stampin' Up! events - there is so much energy and creativity! And I always come back with a ton of ideas. Saturday my mom, my downline Lisa and I spent the day with over 350 other demonstrators and a few Stampin' Up! employees. There were also some give aways too! Stampin' Up! is such a wonderful company!


This was one of the make and takes we did on Saturday. Four note cards and envelopes come packaged together and we made a pretty vellum cover for them all to fit into! Over the next little while I will be sharing more pictures from Hamilton and my swap cards!

I gave this card to my husband for his birthday. He liked the ripped paper and he said they looked like the rippled sand that we saw on our trip to PEI in June. To create the sand I started with Crumb Cake card stock and ripped a 2.5" wide piece in half, then layered the pieces onto the card front. To make the sand realistic I used the Colour Spritzer tool and a Crumb Cake Stampin' Write Marker. The Pool Party piece is the negative of the Large Scallop Edgelit, distressed with Pool Party Ink Pad and Whisper White Craft ink to highlight the 'waves'.
