Haitian Disater Relief Update!

February 23, 2010
There are just a few days left to participate in Stampin′ Up!’s Haitian relief efforts! Until February 28, 2010, Stampin′ Up! is setting aside $2 from the sale of select stamp sets to be donated to the American Red Cross’ Haiti Relief and Development Fund. So far, demonstrators around the world have sold 11,895 sets, which equates to over $20,000 to be donated to this fund--but don’t stop now! You still have six days left to participate in this effort and join other Stampin′ Up! demonstrators in making a difference in lives of those who continue to suffer in Haiti. You can also go back to my blog post when this all started for more information.

February 01, 2010 in , ,

This was the last card we made on Saturday at my Variety Stamp-A-Stack. I think I like this one the most. Not sure where I came up with the colour combo but I have been trying to include more In Colors into my projects lately! We only have until July 2010 until they dissapear!

Supplies
Stamps: Vintage Vogue
Ink: Apricot Appeal, Dusty Durango, Basic Grey
Paper: Barely Banana, Dusty Durango, Very Vanilla, Sage Shadow
Accessories: Scallop Trim border punch (SAB), stampin' dimensionals, little leaves sizzlets die, texturz plates and Big Shot

The inspiration from this card came from a few cards that I saw using a different stamp set: Autumn Splendor from the Holiday Mini catalogue. Not quite the same effect because the other stamp set has more lines and less to colour in.
Supplies
Stamps: Fifth Avenue Floral, All Holidays
Ink: Versamark, Stampin Write markers: Barely Banana, Crushed Curry and Apricot Appeal
Paper: Barely Banana, Crushed Curry, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Gold embossing powder, stamin' dimensionals, texturz plates and Big Shot

Enjoy your day!
