A kit is a fun way to start stamping or to expand your supplies if you are a new stamper. Everything included in one fun box! You then have an ink spot and stamp set to reuse on a different project. This blog post included more ideas for the Christmas Whimsy Card Kit for you to see what you can make using just the kit's contents but also an extra card version that needs just a few other products to create.
These are the cards you can make with the Christmas Whimsy Card Kit. I know, you must be thinking, Amanda it's the end of June I can't think about Christmas?? Did you know that Christmas is less than 6 months away as of a few days ago? I'm not sure where the last 6 months went and how July starts on Friday. I'm sure the next 6 months will fly by and I'll thank myself in November when I have these cards ready to send with seasons greetings to friends and family. These elves are so cute and I love the bright Poppy Parade with the Night of Navy. The light string on the tree is gold and the the kit includes gold stickers to put on the elf die cut! These kits will inspire your creativity and introduce you to stamping. The kits contain everything you need to create the projects.
What if you are a new stamper? The kits includes a clear stamping block and Night of Navy ink spot along with the die cuts, card bases, envelopes, exclusive stamp set and all the pieces needed to complete the cards.
There are 4 items I would suggest for every crafter to have:
- Simply Shammy, just add water to clean your stamps.
- Paper Snips are nice and sharp to cut ribbon.
- Bone Folder to made your folds nice and crisp.
- Multipurpose Liquid Glue, although the kit includes adhesive this is my favourite instead of the little adhesive dots that are in the kit.
Christmas Cards using the Christmas Whimsy Card Kit
Near the end of the video I started to create an alternative card and then directed people to pop over here to my blog to see the finished project. Adding a few extra items to the kit can extend how many cards you can create with them.
There are 3 items I added: the Poppy Parade card base, a stripe of Night of Navy cardstock and a new product from the Jul-Dec Mini Catalogue, the Iridescent Trim. The links for these products are just below if you wanted to add it to your order. Also listed is a package of Basic White Note Cards & Envelopes. Add these to your kit to stretch your kit. Use the Night of Navy ink spot and the exclusive stamp set to decorate the note cards.
