Thank you to everyone you joined us Saturday January 26th at our first all day crop for 2019! We raised $50 to donate to the Boys and Girls Club of Kingston. We used the All My Love Designer Series Paper for our Make & Takes.


My pocket page was created with dies and no stamps. I used the Celebrate You Thinlits and Petals & More Thinlits to decorate one of the 4"x6" pockets. The large heart was cut from the designer series paper - I hand cut it with scissors but have discovered that the Be Mine Stitched Framelits has a heart die that will work with it!


The card I designed uses the Amazing Life stamp set. The flowers were hand cut while the main image was cut out using the Layering Oval framelits. A piece of Powder Pink 3/8" Mini Ruffled Ribbon completes the card.


Lisa designed the 12"x12" scrapbook page to showcase pictures from her son's birthday! I love that Otter stamp from the Hey Love stamp set and it works well with the pictures on the layout.


Out next all day crop will be Saturday February 23 in support of H'Art Kingston. Registration is closed for this crop but is open for our March crop on March 23rd in support of Marta's Table here in Kingston. I had fun making this card - Whisper White Large Memories & More Cards and Envelopes and a the Happy Birthday 4"x6" card from the card pack made it a quick and easy card to assemble!

The Bitty Blossoms Punch Pack is perfect for adding dimension and fun flowers to your projects. For my card I punch out 2 of the flower shapes using Lovely Lipstick and Night of Navy. The center of the flowers is punched in Daffodil Delight. On the Night of Navy flower centers I added a Enamel dot in the center. I also added a Call me Clover Enamel dot on either side of the greeting although it is hard to see.

Today's project is from Sunday's shoebox swap that my upline hosted for her team. I had a lot of fun. Unfortunately a few people were unable to make it last minute but the 3 of us had a good time! Lisa provided dinner and then we made our projects. I will share the other projects later this week!

Whenever I am stuck on a project for ideas, my go to place for inspiration is Pinterest. The theme for the shoebox swap was to use products from the Occasions and/or Sale-A-Bration catalogues.

To create the butterflies I stamped them on Whisper White cardstock with Memento Black ink then used a sponge dauber to put Smokey Slate ink around the end of each butterfly wing and then Daffodil Delight in the center. The stamp set is designed perfectly as the large and small butterfly are attached together as one stamp and then the Butterfly Duet punch lines up with both butterflies to punch them out. Wanted to share a non Christmas project with you today. I love this simple card. The Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper has the butterflies ready for you to punch out. This paper will be available starting January 3rd.

I recommend quickly cutting around each butterfly before punching so that you don't punch others one as well. This will make your paper go further. It is hard to see in the pictures but the Whisper White strip was sponged with White Shimmer Paint to give it a pearlized look.
