Kids birthdays seem to pop up all of a sudden! I seem to be the worst person for sending birthday cards to kids! Although I made another one today that is so adorable, you'll have to come back to see it! he he he!

Love this owl punch! I wasn't sure if it could pull off the pink colour but it's adorable! I wonder what colours I can make owls in now...

Just For You!

March 23, 2011 in
When I first made this card before Christmas I thought it would be a great entry to Stampin' Up!'s Artisan Award, but I've made a few other cards I like even more so this one got chopped from the list. Every year Stampin' Up! accepts entries for the Artisan Award and then selects 10 demonstrators from all those entries. I thought about entering last year, but time slipped away from me. So far I'm a little behind, everything needs to be into Salt Lake City, Utah by April 22, 2011! I thought I would be done 3 weeks ago! So as of this morning I have 2 scrapbook pages, 5 cards, 2 3D items down. 1 scrapbook page left to do! Wish me luck!

Happy First Day of Spring! Around here we definitely need this bright Daffodil Delight card to make our day brighter! We have snow once again, boo! I know I need to thank someone for this design, but at this moment I am unable to figure out who, but thank you none the less!

The designer paper was stamped with Daffodil Delight ink with the edge stamp from Vintage Vogue. And the Daffodil and Basic Grey flowers were stamped as well. I'm loving the Fun Flowers die for the Big Shot. I am trying really hard to not put flowers onto everything!

These cards are from last month's card stamp camp. Before all the ladies arrived I had no idea how this card was going to turn out! I just threw some paper, ink and two stamp sets on the table and let them have at it.

Whoa, the time sure flies by when I'm creating! The biggest problem is the number of items that I have started and what time is left to get them all done! Yikes. But that means there will be more really cool things to share with you soon.
Today's card is one we made during February's stamp camp. We used the Big Shot for each card! On the base of the card is a second layer of Old Olive that has been put through the Big Shot with the Polka Dot folder. I really like the effect it give the card instead of putting the whole card front through the Big Shot.
